Dear Sir or Madam,
I wish to express my interests in applying for the Master degree in Aerospace Engineering in September 2013. This program is a concrete step towards my career goal, working in the aerospace and aeronautical industry.
I accomplished a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering in the University of ***, with a specialization in mechanical systems design, with a graduation in September 2012.
During the six semester in this university I gained valuable experience through development and design of mechanical systems, particularly for automotive, aeronautical and machine-tools industry.
Endowed with an exceptional motivation, I strongly dedicate myself to my formation and my academic activities. By example beside my studies, I was involved in the university team participating to the Shell Eco-Marathon in Rotterdam in 2012, this experience give me the possibility to work at the development and the construction of ultra energy-efficient vehicles.
After finishing my degree in engineering, I achieved an internship in the Moscow State University of Mechanical Engineering. I was involved in modeling an simulating ceramic and composite thermal isolation and thermal barrier coating of diesel engines combustion chamber, aircraft engines and space aircraft heat shield. This experience give me the opportunity to complete my skill in my field of studies, and to prove my ability to work in a multicultural environment and to be comfortable in an international environment.
I currently am engaged in the mandatory Swiss military service until august 2013.
I always been highly interested in the field of aviation and aerospace technologies and particularly in the development of new products for this industry.
A completion of this Master degree at the University *** would really be an excellent springboard for my future career.
I choose the University *** because of the broad, future oriented, innovative and practically oriented education, which are in accordance with the actual job market.
