My career interests lie in the ability to effectively create world-class solutions to technical and business needs using Information Technology tools like Computers and the Internet. This informs my desire to pursue a post-graduate program in Computing and International Business having completed a 5-year undergraduate Bachelor of Engineering degree program in Computer Engineering at Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria in June 2008.

With my academic background and work experiences in different but related IT fields, I desire to develop new skills and gain knowledge that will help me achieve my career objectives of becoming a business-aware IT professional. I have been involved in networking, hardware installation and maintenance, telecommunications and recently web design and maintenance. I hope to get the chance to develop further in these technical skills while being able to hone such skills with some business/management expertise so I can become proficient in delivering solutions that will improve results of any business/industry problems I tackle.

I believe that ultimately, the program will help me further understand the concepts of computing, information technology, software development, management principles, the global business environment and international commerce.

I know the U.K. boasts of some of the world's best institutions for computing studies. These institutions provide intellectually stimulating environment with good facilities that meet modern day specifications. Academic programs in such institutions are usually well structured and based on recent trends due to their links with major industry players and the continuous research work being carried out by staff. It will be a privilege to pursue my post-graduate studies with financial assistance at one of such institutions. I hope to do the best I can to compete favourably with other excellent talents I will be schooling with.
