Children should only play sports for fun, or should play in competitions or contests Sports are the daily activity for children. However people hold different attitudes to their sports. Some of them assert that children are too young to afford these competitions; otherwise, others hold the point that children's matches must be full of contest. Were it left for me to choose whether children plays sports in competition or only for fun, I will choose the former without any hesitation.

There are some detriments the competition brings, children will feel shameful when they do not have a good performance during the game, which directly results in the children's unwillingness to play that sports. Other voice is that children are at the age of learning fundament of the playing sports so it is unnecessary for them to face too much competition. However, for my perspective, the benefits of competition overweigh the disadvantages it brings. Competition makes the country special, active and energetic.

By facing the competition, children could realize their shortages or deficient efforts. If they lose the match, they will practice more diligently to improve their skills. If they win the competition they will follow their previous training. In other words, competition is kind of comparison and an exam of their previous work to motivate children to exercise harder and more industriously.

Competition is the fundament of the society. Moreover competition teaches children the realities of the victories and losses, with which they must handle. It is so useful for them when these children grow up and enter the society. Competition is a living standard of all creatures around the world. Just think of Darwin's theory, when the environment changes, only the strong or environmental-fitted creatures could survive. Why not let children face the competition earlier in order to adapt the society better? The more profound they understand the world the more desperately they want to change themselves to be stronger.

Comparing to just playing for fun, competition stimulates children in an indirect way. That means the upward mobility throughout the competition encourages children to try harder and explore further

Education is the fundament of a country. Teachers teach students knowledge and lesson. However, as the rapid development of society, teachers need to update their knowledge and way of teaching student.

Scientific development accompanies the raising of the theory and subversion of the old theory. In order to speed up the spreading of the new theory the Educational department need to prefect the texts books. Another reason the educational department doing this is to find a appropriate way by which students could understand the knowledge clearly. That two reasons push teachers to update their knowledge. For example my geography teacher, he is required to attend a kind of class to learn contents of new textbook, because the educational department has to refresh the data and add new picture and diagram in the textbook, so, attending a class is a way to improve the ability to teach.

As one old saying goes that" never too old to learn. " and attending the class is also a good way to promote teachers themselves. The courses they take, are more merely identified with the teaching skill course, which are also some course about their life to prefect teachers characteristics. for example teachers could take some course about how to communicate with others well, which could help them avoid some trouble in their daily life. additionally several class could change their mold of thinking which help people hold a positive attitude to their life.

Due to the rapid progress of scientific technology, for teachers in universities, they are required to gain advanced research results in their major, in order to further their research. That is why Newton once said he is standing on the shoulder of the giant, so if a professor only focuses on the knowledge he or she teaches, he or she will out of date and his or her jobs will become meaningless which just repeat the book again and again.

To sum up, teachers also need to attend class to update their knowledge. Otherwise they will lose their competitiveness. For students, a qualified teacher, could be the guide of their life.

History is a controversial topic in today's society, were it left for me to decide whether people need to review the past to solve the problems of present and the future or not. I will choose the later without any hesitation.

Admittedly, there is an old saying that looking into a brass mirror you may trim your garments. Looking into a single soul, you find out how well you rule. Looking into the histories you foresee the destiny of your nation. To review the past is to read the history. The sayings express the importance of reading history. However histories may have bad influence on us, people will feel confused and will be misled. What's more, with the development of the society, some history events are not suitable for today's life.

People write histories. So it is inevitable that the histories are written from someone's own perspective, which means they probably do not have a clear look at a history event. What's more, It is obvious that 'history is written by the winner', so histories are fundamentally full of propaganda and misconception, in order to please the authority. Sometimes, history from the former dynasty may be tampered by the later regime. As a famous battle in which 3 countries in ancient China an example, historians in different regimes wrote quite distinct descriptions and altitudes to the battle. In other world, we only read a narrow or distorted aspect of a history event, which sometimes exerts bad effect on us.

With the rapid development of the society, some lessons we learn from the history are not advanced enough to suit contemporary situation. Now everyone has the right of education, equality, and freedom. But people did not have these rights, 200 years ago, on which histories base. Moreover, by the elevation of people's increasing recognition and more advanced technique, one could have a better problem solving skill than in the past.

As someone said" history is just like a novel" certainly, when we face problem whenever in the future or at the present, referring to the history is not bad for us to solve the problem, but the best way is to analyze the problem according to our own situation.
