Writing Feedback / ielts 2 - 'parents are superior to the teachers in terms of development' [4]

Some people think that teachers at school are more responsible for children's intellectual and social development than parents. To what extend do you agree or dis agree? What is your personal opinion?

As more priority is given to education on the current status quo, some people arrive at a consensus that instructors at school are more crucial for strengthening kids' intelligence and social contact than their parents because the time dedicated to schooling is more than ever before.

To large extent, I oppose the viewpoint and regard parents as the most momentous teachers despite not best.

For starter, parents are their first teachers who play a paramount role in moulding kids' characters, particularly in childhood, as well as have the power to determine educational things (e.g. which school the child will attend, whether hire a tutor), while the educators only assign some tasks and impart some knowledge.

Moreover, throughout children's educational "careers", a child has to study a wide spectrum of curriculum, resulting that a large number of teachers will teach him or her compared with parents who will influence him or her all the time. What is more, educators always have too many students to pay equal attention to every student as well as ignore someone's particular demands. As the main purpose to attend school is to grasp knowledge, the educator might just cram children knowledge passively and mechanically. In comparison, parents who do not know the realistic knowledge might inspire their children to study, which could make kids acquire the most vital skills- learning- to lead successful lives during the 21st century.

On comparison, parents are superior to the teachers in terms of development of their children's intelligence and social interaction.

Writing Feedback / 'the earliest teachers we have in our lives' - ielts task2 [2]

topic: parents are the best teachers. do you agree or not?

Obviously, the earliest teachers we have in our lives in most cases are mour parents, and they are generally the most involved in the development and education of their children. Yet neither are all parents good teachers noe are those good parents, in most cases, the best teachers.

First of all, not all parents are good teachers. As normal individuals, some parents more or less have bad habits. Even though parens almost instinctivel devote themselves to cultivating their offspring, the outcome might turn out to be disappointment, for all children tend to unconsciously or subconsciously copy everything from their parents. Another deficiency of parents as teachers is the fact that most parents lack the common senses of education. All too often we observe that some parents tend to pursue their own cherished but failed dreams by forcing their children to develop in a prearranged direction.

Moreover, some parents are qualified as good teachers, but not all of them are the best ones. When children are in the preliminary school, it is not surprising that parents are capable of teaching their children almost every subject. But the situation will not last long. We live in a world where knowledge is accumulated by multiplying and at the same time becomes more and more specialized. Therefore, to be a professional in a certain field today takes a much long time than ever before. No parent is able to be prefessional in all fields, though they might be experts in one or more field.

Most parts of children's educaion is virtually beyond teachers' reaches. In a word, it is rather superficial to simply say that parents are the best teachers.

Writing Feedback / 'leading enviable lives to have a deeper education' [4]

some people think that to have a succeddful life you have to have university education, while others think it's not that important. discuss both views and give your opinion based on personal experience and knowledge.

Some people consider it is a necessity for those who desire to lead enviable lives to have a deeper education in universities while others arrive a consensus that it is not essential to get a college diploma. In this essay, I will discuss the two points form the following aspects.

Throughout most of the 20th century, those who manage to finish primary or junior high school acquired sufficient skills and knowledge to handle most basic tasks and address working problems on a daily basis, when most large companies equipped their employees with fundamental skills through their own internal training and development programs. As a result, it is not uncommon to see employees enjoy successful careers, working in the same companies throughout entire lives.

However, the world undergoes a transformation, which put an end to those traditions. As workers jump ships more frequently, more companies keep the money used to train fresh workers, which acts as a catalyst for change in job markets. Therefore, Job seekers who grasp pragmatic knowledge which suits the demand of particular companies evidently have the edge over those who do not have. A college education can well serve as a means to the end. Moreover, people attending university can also acquire what most adults will do for a living in 21st century----learning, which is the root of any success.

So, although there are quite success stories in which those without a college education carve out a successful career, it is more likely to experience an inferior life compared with those who have.

Hence, it is wise, if one has such a chance, to gain a college degree.
