Undergraduate / PERFORMING ARTS- CAPP ACTIVITY [2]

Thank you for reading it. Constructive criticism please! I know i have to work alot in this essay and your help is greatly appreciated!

Human life without a sense of beautiful and arts would be a mixture of rational structures, logic and strict norms of conduct. Every individual has some occupation which brings happiness and satisfaction.

I learned to read with play scripts and started performing since kinder. For me, it is not only art, but a hobby and a therapy,.as it allows me to forget about my world and immerse into someone else's life. In dance, moves generate powerful emotions and performing allows me to feel how this role would live, speak, act, which opens new horizons of understanding, enhancing my empathy.

I love to explore different facets of this art. Being in the dance team, a flamenco student, a folklore school competitor, an actress in plays and musicals and helper on Direction of a School play and a One Act play, have provided me enriching experiences.

Incredible memories from school were when I performed as Aladin in Aladin and a victory at the Talent Show when my group performed a silent sketch from Chaplin's live. I remember every detail of the process - preparations, searching for costumes, the performance itself, happy faces of the team's members.

This passion encourages my self-discipline and diligence, gives me a new vision, social skills and erudition. Stage is something that opens unlimited possibilities and found out my genuine emotions and feelings.

Undergraduate / Business, the burning fire deep inside me ; NYU Sup/ academic interests? [2]

Hi!

Could someone be so kind to give me feedback on this essay?

Thanks!!

NYU's global network provides students with hundreds of academic areas of interest for students to cultivate their intellectual curiosity and to help achieve their career goals. Whether you are entirely undecided about your academic plans or you have a definitive program of study in mind, what are your own academic interests? Feel free to share any thoughts on any particular programs or how you might explore those interests at NYU on any of our campuses.

There is a burning fire deep inside me: business. My achievement of having a prosperous business can be facilitated by the well streamed academic curriculum at NYU, were I knew I wanted to study the first time I visited.

However, attending NYU is more than just academics. Out of class experiences are equally as valuable as learning in the classroom; the vast amount of clubs will allow me to develop practical skills for my business.

A characteristic about me is my hunger for learning. More so, my hunger to learn from new cultures. I believe it is so enriching for life to meet international people. When travelling, I immerse myself in the culture and taste, photograph all innovative to me. This is why; studying abroad is an important happening in my college live. The incredible opportunities at NYU provide chances to explore and develop interests and integrate within the new community.

I posses a wide range of passions. With its first rate business education and a broad based liberal arts foundation, NYU is my best fit college

I had been saving to open my bakery business high school. Travelling has helped me to learn about cuisine from different cultures and I have been able to mix ingredients from all over the world and develop new recipes.

Apart from training employees about Argentinian recipes, I want to instill in them the skills taught at NYU. NYU offers an environment that motivates cultural advancements and personal growth as well as fostering the skills necessary to succeed in the professional world.

Undergraduate / Self-sustainability; BC Sup [2]

Could someone be so kind to give me feedback on this essay?

Change to Argentina

Social justice, religion and ethical practices all emphasize on the need for emulating hero's and legends that lived before us. Even through their focus might be diverse and focused on other aspects of life such as fighting for freedom or human rights; am focused on being charitable, empathetic and compassionate about others. Just like St. Augustine who is also my role model, I want to bring change to ARGENTINA. I want to do what is on my hands and more for the cause that I believe in by educating underprivilaged children.

Personally, I have a liking for progress and self-sustainability which becomes my motivation as I embrace the education challenges in Argentina. For a long time, most Argentinians have suffered marginalization and denied the right to a decent education. Most of this problems can be attributed to negative ethnicity, racism, alcoholism, violence, unemployment and drug use and trafficking. This situation has led to a lot of suffering among Argentinians.

My access to education created in me a burning desire to serve humanity through realizing that the community of Zapallal,in the ouskirts of Buenos Aires, needed values education and a business that could provide them with income. Due to the collection of funds, It has not only improved the income of the locals but also it has uplifted the hopes of the dissilutioned people by promising a brighter future. The local inhabitants have also learnt how to express themselves artistically while learning hand building techniques.

There is yet another poverty stricken community of Puente Piedra where I have confronted their lack of education by founding a service project "Mundo Nuevo" the being to offer the children an opportunity to learn diverse topics from a dynamic point of view through the use of performing arts. These projects have seen me travel to Peru with the sole purpose of internationalizing it in the years to come and above all, they have made me realize that small actions make a big difference to humanity. For that cause, I plan on continuing with the education project in order to benefit Argentinians.
