Writing Feedback / IELTS TASK 2: What factors are important in achieving happiness?Depend on individuals [5]

TOPIC: Happiness is considered very important in life. Why is it difficult to define? What factors are important in achieving happiness?

Happiness is something that is indispensable to human's life. Actually, life will become meaningless without happiness. However, it's not easy to define what happiness is and how to be happy.

Everyone in the world is always different from one another. They differ from shape, personality, hobby, thinking and many other things. Certainly, their happiness is also dissimilar. For example, when a person who lives in indigence and often eats frugal meals or even has nothing to eat is feasted with a hearty meal and is granted a little money, he might feel very happy. Wealthy people, by contrast, cannot be happy by those things. Maybe, to them, things can make them happy are a colossal amount of money, luxury cars, respect or even just care. Who knows? We cannot explain someone's happiness but himself. Therefore, I would believe that everybody has his own happiness's definition.

On the other hand, there are various things to make somebody happy. In fact, depending on different conditions, we have different methods to reach happiness. Nevertheless, in my opinion, the most essential factor which makes a person feel happy is having positive outlook on life. We have to confront many difficulties throughout our life. If we just look at the negative side with pessimistic attitude, I make sure that we never know how happiness is. Moreover, I believe that we should understand ourselves in order that we know which really make us feel happy.

In conclusion, life is complicated, and happiness is no exception. In my point of view, looking at the bright side or having positive outlook on life is the key point to achieve happiness.

Writing Feedback / Individuals can do nothing on environmental issues, Agree or disagree?(TOEFL) [7]

there are my views:

some people may claim that the government should contribute to the recovery of the environment but individuals can do nothing about it.

the gentleman who used the toilet does not forget to turn the faucet ====> the gentleman who does not forget to turn the faucet off after using toilet.

the people who walked on a road remember not to throw their trash bag on the street randomly ===> a person remember not to litter when walking on the road.

I hope they are ok :)). I like your ideas.
I'm freshman here so i do not know how to quote your essay >_<

Writing Feedback / IELTS T2: In what ways has technology affected the types of relationship people make? [5]

TOPIC: Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology. In what ways has technology affected the types of relationship people make?. Has this become a positive or negative development?

~~~~~*~~~~~
It is true that with the emergence of technology, we nowadays have a rich variety of ways to interact with people. Apart from advantages, this also contains some problems.
On the one hand, the development of technology helps us to keep in contact with friends and family easily. We can make a call for them at anywhere, anytime to catch up with what they have been up to. For example, if we have to move to another country for studying abroad or the requirement of work, the products of telecommunication technologies such as mobile phone and internet are the best way for us to keep touch with our relatives and our chums. We can even make friends with many people in different foreign countries. Through internet services like yahoo messenger, social networking websites or internet calling, we have various alternative ways to contact each other which make the conversations more enjoyable.
On the other hand, technology also brings some problems about contact with people. The rapid growth of social networking makes people tend to prefer chatting through it to talking face to face. In my case, I and my crony had a date last weekend. We met at the coffee shop where near my house. During a date, she just focused on her mobile phone in order to update status and chat with her friends on Facebook instead of chatting with me. It was such a boring moment that I never want to fall into this situation again. In addition, I would believe that if we depend too much on social networking or other internet services, we will become lack of communication skills in reality.
In conclusion, though we cannot deny the benefits of technologies in keeping contact with each other, it would be a real pity if we relied on them too much which may makes communication face to face difficult.
Writing Feedback / IELTS: solve growing traffic and pollution problems - people's awareness [5]
topic: In creasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems? To what extend do you agree or dis agree? What other measures do you think might be effective?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The price of petrol has risen recently. Some people consider it as the best way to reduce traffic as well as pollution problems. In my opinion, I dissent from the statement that increasing the price of petrol can solve these problems.

Transportation is one of the most essential needs of humans. I would therefore believe that the number of vehicles still increase gradually whether the cost of petrol grow or not. Every day, we have to travel to work, college or someplace, and we cannot reach our destination without using a certain vehicle if the distance is not short. Thus, I would argument that the rising of petrol's price just burden people's financial condition. This way does not mitigate traffic problems or polluted smoke, and it even makes many people impoverished.

On the other hand, there are alternative ways to abate traffic and pollution matters. We can solve these issues by encouraging people taking public vehicles instead of using private means of transport. If we want so, we must upgrade public transport system and create better conditions for people who use public transport to travel every day. We also reduce polluted smoke by inventing vehicles that use solar energy to run. Finally, which is important to resolve these issues is people's awareness which can be improved through education and propaganda.

In conclusion, I do think that traffic and pollution matters cannot be solved by growing the cost of petrol which just benefits a few social groups.
