As a pharmacy student I have always dreamed of joining an elite pharmaceutical company. Right after graduation I was fortunate to start my career at Hikma Pharmaceuticals a leading multinational company and is the largest regional pharmaceutical company. Therefore I choose to apply to the MS.c Management course, to help me advance in my career and reach my goal of holding a managerial role in the corporate.

I choose to apply for Warwick Business School, due to the fact that it's one of the top business schools in the world possessing an impressive international reputation with world class professors. Moreover, the structure of the course appealed to me because its comprehensive covering fundamental aspects of business. There is also the freedom that is provided by allowing students to choose from a variety of electives courses such as "big data analytics" and "international business". Furthermore, I like the fact that there is an integration of case studies in teaching which helps to combine theory and practice enriching the learning process.

As a student in a demanding undergraduate degree, which involved a considerable amount of group projects and assignments, I learned to manage my time effectively in order to meet the timelines on a tight schedule. I also gained the ability to work independently and as a part of a group. My current work experience refined my communication and networking skills through meeting professionals of diverse industries and backgrounds. Furthermore, currently I'm volunteering in " Injaz group " where I have the opportunity to give career guide courses to high school students , helping students build their future as well as improving my leadership skills. As a result with all these skills acquired from my studies and professional experience and volunteering I believe I will contribute to the graduate course I'm applying to .

In my current work I hold a technical role as a regulatory affairs officer. I aspire through studying MS.c Management to widen my horizons obtaining business knowledge which will add to my current scientific knowledge. Therefore, after finishing my degree I will be able to make the transition within my current company into a managerial role. I'm particularly interested in joining the business development department where business knowledge plays a crucial role.

To further deepen my knowledge in business,I make sure to follow renowned business journals such as " Harvard Business review " and " Forbes ". Moreover, in my leisure time I enjoy

Reading books that are related to different areas of business. One of my favorite books is " Good To Great " by Jim Collins, which discusses the notions of corporate success and why some companies make the transition into becoming a great company.

To conclude, pursuing a masters degree in Management will help me to achieve my career goals , and to grow wholly as a person. I hope to become a part of this world class program where I will have the opportunity to learn and contribute in an enriching environment .

Writing Feedback / Information technology is such a commonly used term in the twentieth century. Remote work is popular [3]

I think the main argument here is not about technology. It's about having the opportunity to work from home vs in a normal work place .In this regard you need to introduce advantages for working from home such as flexible schedule and caring for your family. On the other hand you need to introduce the disadvantages which could be the lack of teamwork as you won't have your coworkers with you also the distractions that are found at home.

Scholarship / Chevening networking essay : networking helped me secure my first job [2]

Hello , this is my first draft for my Chevening networking essay , I would highly appreciate it if you could possibly help me out both content and grammatical wise .

The importance of networking skills became evident when I was still a student at the university .With the support of one of my connections I was able to secure my first and current job in a leading multinational pharmaceutical company . When it comes to networking I'm strongly committed to creating new connections and maintaining them as I believe this is highly essential in achieving success in terms of both personal growth and climbing the career ladder.

In my senior year studying to become a pharmacist I enrolled in the seminar in pharmaceutics & pharmaceutical technology , I choose to conduct my seminar on the quality control department in order to shed the light on their role within the pharmaceutical companies. With the aim of representing my seminar at the highest level of professionalism and transparency , I took the initiative in re-connecting with the QC department that I had met earlier at Hikma Pharmaceuticals during a field trip organized by our faculty . Contacting them not only made my seminar very successful and distinguished but also and most importantly I had the opportunity to further tighten my relationship particularly with one member of the QC team forming a solid relationship , this was very helpful as I turned to this member shortly after graduation who thankfully was very supportive in informing me about vacancies and passing my CV to the regulatory affairs management , briefly afterwords I earned an interview and eventually became an employee at Hikma Pharmaceutical .

Through working in a dynamic environment in my role as a regulatory affairs officer , I had to coordinate and deal with several departments and multiple regulatory agencies and health authorities, giving me the privilege of constantly creating new connections with people in marketing , sales and regulatory bodies across the globe. Additionally I managed to further expand my network through the events and conferences that I attend . Getting to know my connections and approaching them as if were trying to make friends rather than merely exchanging business cards in addition to taking the initiative in following up and maintaining the relationships whether through sharing industry updates or a simple friendly gesture , This all had led me to possess such a rich wide network from different sectors .

Being a Chevening scholar offers the opportunity of meeting young motivated leaders from different backgrounds and cultures, and this will prove to be very worthy upon my return to Jordan , as enhancing my networking horizons will serve a great deal in transferring me into business development position within my current company , where networking skills are crucial in succeeding in such an important position which I aspire to reach as to contribute in improving pharmaceutical industry as a whole in Jordan .

Scholarship / Leadership through working in a pharmaceutical company - Chevening application essay [5]

hello I'm applying for chevening scholarship and I appreciate your suggestions on both the grammar and the content of the assay :

Chevening is looking for individuals that will be future leaders or influencers in their home countries , explain how you meet these requirements using clear examples of your own leadership and influencing skills to support your answers : min 50 , max 500

It was Shortly after graduation in March 2014 when I started working at Hikma Pharmaceutical a leading multinational company and is the largest pharmaceutical company in the MIddle east and North Africa region ( MENA) ,this was a turning point in my understanding for the true meaning behind the word leadership , many people associate leadership with having authority , however having the privilege to work with great managers who displayed leadership qualities has inspired to become a leader myself .

It's Through hardships that greatness is born , as a new regulatory affairs officer in the company I was still getting used to my assigned duties , which aims to make sure that our products comply with authorities regulations and maintain marketing license while ensuring complying with shipping regulations , Unfortunately at that time we had big issues in shipping to Sudanese Market due to allegedly non complying packages costing the company huge loss accounts for about 16 million dollars , in addition my teammate who was responsible for the this Market had transferred to another department leaving an important role that I had to fill in . It was quite hard at first and daunting , but With one thought in mind determined to succeed along with all the encouragement and motivation from my manager I managed to create a data base in creating to organizing shipping issues , working hand in hand with purchasing and design we managed the issue and succeeded to control , after that I saw the importance in sharing my experience in handling shipping issues with my Teammates and without being asked to I arranged for a training session for the whole team as I believe that part of leadership resides in sharing knowledge and providing support for your colleagues .

Due to the success that I have demonstrated handling shipping issues previously , our senior management decided to hand me a highly rated project " packaging unification across MENA" , that would minimize costs , errors enhancing the overall packaging process for our products through having a unified packaging for every product across the various MENA destinations , this proved to be tricky since every country has unique regulations . I was the project leader leading 10 of my teammates despite having no formal authority, the major obstacle that I faced was that regulations differs between countries and in order to deal with this problem I decided to split the team into three regions ( Africa , Gcc , LEVANT) and asked them to summaries the packaging requirements and this way we were able to have a clear consolidated plan to apply in our packages to make sure it complies with all the countries , moreover I had to conduct regular weekly meetings in order to keep the team motivated and to remind them with the importance of this project to our company also opening the space for suggestions and ideas , i used the the same approach when I noticed that we weren't getting enough cooperation from the other departments such as Design , marketing and supply chain and in order to solve this I arranged for several meetings where we discussed the project from different points leading finally to adopt a well structured action plan , approach was taken requirements, action plan , till date we have succeeded in unifying three of our top lines which is considered a great achievement at this point .

To conclude , I think Leadership is all about motivating people inspiring them to be better , Chevening scholarship will provide me with a unique opportunity to pursue my dream of studying in the UK contributing to further build on my leadership skills , as a future leader upon my return to Jordan I will devote myself to creating new leaders , as sadly the world today has enough followers and we are in desperate need for future leaders .

Looking forward for your suggestions
