Your vision is not clear enough in this letter. Where do you want to go? Alignment of goals is not enough for this competitive undergraduate scholarship. Try to help them visualize where your career will go after you graduate. How do you see this exposure helping you achieve your career goals? Discuss your career goals as much as possible in terms of alignment with the course and university you have chosen. That way you allow the reviewer to get into your mind and understand where you are coming from and where you hope to end up after you graduate, at the start of your career. Do not present generic letters of motivation to the committee. They will not be appreciative of that.
