role of women changing in lifetime, Why should i be awarded this scholarship?

I'm good at writing essays on other topics, such as "How do you see the role of women changing in your lifetime?" But i can't figure out how to start this essay strongly, with an interesting intro!

I tried everything and everything seems boring to me. I need help with any suggestions of how to start it off. Can you help me?

This how I began my intro, but i am not satisfied with it:

Nothing in the world is comparable to enrolling into a prestigious institution of higher education.
Since childhood, I have always been a pupil of great potential and academic ability. Learning something new each day would always fascinate me, and I would constantly enhjoy the times of reading a book under a tree, in my backyard, to my younger brother Steve.

you could simply be blunt and start off with a perspective on how the role of women might change in the future by stating the simple concrete fact "women are no different in men in the sense when it comes to ambition". They are determined, persistent, and hard working. And in many situations they surpass men in particular aspects. (hilary is the best example) Analyzing differences in roles of women and the future comes down to how much more women have to work harder to prove this, because of social barriers, hence as these barriers are toppled through advancements in technology, trends, and an overall broader perspective in this developing modern age, it is almost certain the roles of women are going to be taking on more prestige and significance in the near future.... smt smt smt... a rant but refined, it might help you start off.

It is not surprising that you have trouble with this topic, because you are going to have to write all about why you deserve something... which is an unusual and self-centered thing to have to do!

However, you must do it, so find a way. What would impress you if you were the reader? Interestingly, you mentioned that you are good at writing essays about things like "what changes will take place regarding the role of women," and you could actually make this a subject for your essay:

If I am awarded this scholarship, I will be empowered to carry out my plan to create opportunities for professional women.

I think you should devise a life plan and describe it. Tell them that the scholarship will help to actualize your plan.
