I was born in March of 1995 in Deming, New Mexico. For the first few years of my life I lived in Animas, New Mexico. A small but rather widespread ranching and farming community that had a population of about 1,000 people. During this time, my father worked as a farmer and made very little money. Not to mention, my father also felt there wasn't enough opportunities available in Animas. We moved to Farmington, shortly thereafter, where my father got a job in the oil field. Brought up in Farmington, throughout my childhood and teenage years, I developed an interest in drawing. Looking back, I always did poorly in school. But not because I wasn't smart. Instead, it was because I would rather spend my time in class drawing. After graduating from high school, I continued my studies at San Juan College. Even though I am currently majoring in education, my dream is to become a professional artist someday.
