This is my first time to make thread in here.
Please help me.
I have parenthesis on my essay's first paragraph because I'm boubting that which one is good. I want to have your advice

I love reading and creative writing. I want to know different world, and I want many people to know different world, because I grew up in different environment from others.

("Are you Chinese or Japanese?" This is question I always was asked by my American friends, and "both I am," was my answer.)

I have two mother languages. One is Japanese and other one is Chinese. I am born in China and grew up in Japan. I went to Japan at 6 year old, my mother worried that I may forget Chinese, so she taught me Chinese every day. For that reason, I have very good Chinese ability and I don't have any accent.

When my mother taught me Chinese, she used the text books were same as elemental schools in China. The books had many stories about Chinese history, culture, and Chinese's thoughts. My mother did not only teach me Chinese, but also gave me lot of information about China. I also learned Japanese culture and tradition from school and friends. I have mixed up culture and tradition for my own

My elemental school had many students came from China, I always interpreted for them. I was very glad to help people. I had very good relationship with both Chinese and Japanese, and when I introduced them to each other, I help them to get on well. I wanted them to understand each other, so I always act as a go-between for them.

My middle school had two English conversation teachers came from America. I talked to them a lot. I got interest of America and English from then. And when I came to American two years ago, I had high expectation of new school. But when I entered to my first class, I realized that is not the world which the teachers were talking about. That was an ESL class, so students in the class came from every countries of world. Everyone has different accent and they were talking to each other. When I was talking to them, I found that I could accept their difference easily. And I enjoyed telling them my culture. Some people have never heard Asian culture.

When I go to the college, I want tell them my culture. Sometime, I felt alienated to be difference. But America and my mother made me sure that I'm not abnormal but special. I want to people understand world. I want to do that by myself, and college will give me a chance to meet many people. I want to be the bridge between difference and difference.
