Feel free to use your first or second choice major selectionsAt the age of 7 watching my baby-sitter slice, dice, sauté, and bake, I learned how food can be engineered to create eye-popping, tongue sizzling creations. I was fascinated by this discovery. I am now 17 years old, and though the simple meal that I ate at 7 years old is now replaced with my own complex masterpieces, I continue to appreciate my nanny and how she made me realize my strong curiosity for engineering. I plan to pursue this interest by enrolling in the B.A. degree program in engineering. Being one of the world's leading private research universities, USC would be able to provide ideal chances for students like myself who wishe to follow science to a more sophisticated level. It would allow me to broaden my horizons and experience opportunities that other colleges may not be able to offer.

However, the college wants to hear that you are a "person with a plan" so make your goals a bit more solid. In your paper, be sure to state your short term and long term goals, and how your school will be a stepping stone in your journey. Good luck!
