Engineering Leaders: Experience inside/outside of class -USC Suppelment

Engineering leaders do more than just solve technical problems. What kinds of experiences, inside and outside of the classroom, would you want to explore to enhance your studies?

In order to enhance my studies not only knowledge but also experience can be provided outside the classroom. However, at times without any experiences, knowledge is not enough. I would like to gain independence that would lead me to increase my personal growth and improve me by connecting with other students around the world and studying abroad it can be an eye opening adventure where learning extends to the world beyond the classroom walls. Inside of the classroom on topics of study, learn some strategies for success. Find ways to try things together or share notes on things you have done independently, it is a great way to explore and bounce ideas off of someone and learn from their successes and challenges. These are the experiences that I will be looking forward to in pursuing it in my Engineering career life.

PLEASE comment asap! comment on what I have to fix and please be kind enough to explain and give me examples so I understand completely.

I am also wondering on how to write this am I suppose to write a title and date and all that? should I use the MLA format or what? I don't know how to make it look professional.

Thank you but I know how the MLA format is and all.
I am applying to USC and in the application they aren't specific on how I am suppose to write they just said that I attach the document so that made me confused on how am I suppose to write it on Word, they just have 2 questions:

1)Engineering leaders do more than just solve technical problems. What kinds of experiences, inside and outside of the classroom, would you want to explore to enhance your studies?

2)Engineers have sometimes been stereotyped as "nerds" or "geeks." Do you embrace or reject that stereotype? Why?

Am I just suppose to write the paragraphs under the question? and what do you think of my paragraph?

Hi, I just read through your essay.

I feel that you could describe more on the experiences you would like to explore indoor/outdoor with greater detail. I have edited the essay, where I found a couple of grammatical errors. Here's the revised edition:

Engineers in various sectors, don't just solve everyday problems or work on computers or build the technology of today's world, rather they find alternate ways in which we they can enhance our world to make it a better place for everyone. They do so by finding ways to make certain hazardous jobs more safer for people to work and aim at increasing efficiency and specialization. As a student, I would like to have more hands on learning experiences in systematic design and implementation incorporates service design and aerodynamics...

I like a couple of the points mentioned though.

thank you so much, I don't want to make it too long they just said one paragraph. Do you think this is enough or should I add more? cause I am seriously running out of things to say and ideas.

I looked up on all the paragraph for this questions other students submitted it and most of them have this long or a little shorter.

Your welcome! I guess if its the usual length of essays submitted, you could stick to this length. Maybe you could add just one sentence on how USC's degree is going to help you explore the indoor/outdoor experiences. Like what makes that degree different from the rest of the colleges.

I think all the grammar parts are fine.
