which is better and more reliable to apply through.. SUNY or Common App..
i am applying for Buffalo , Union , and Albany
p.s. the SUNY application doesn't require an essay...
If SUNY doesn't require an essay, what do they require?
personal information
Most students are lazy so they would choose the easiest way -- you choose the harder way and your chances will be better :).
look i seem to have some difficulties writing my essay... so i thought that instead of doing the common application and writing a bad essay ( not really bad though), i better not write an essay and apply through SUNY..
btw the colleges are : University at Buffalo , Albany University
any suggestions ?
Ummmm, Buffalo requires an essay regardless if you choose the common app or suny app.
I chose the Suny app for buffalo, and after I finished applying, they sent me the supplement, in which I had to write a really long essay, so either way you will be writing at least one essay.
I would go with the SUNY app because it is what all SUNY's prefer.
what advices do you have for me during the application
Well, rich monte is right. university admission officers are trying to find out as much about you as possible in order to know you better, but if you decide that you would not write an essay (which, in my opinion, is not the smartest way around), you should really try to show your personality and other information that are suppose to be on the essays as much as possible.
if you have time do as much as possible, write as much essays as possible to show you're that much more interested and desiring of attending that university.
