In general all communicating media are important and have their own advantages

Compare the advantages and disadvantages of three of the following as media communicating information. State which you consider to be the most effective.

For better or worse we live in a world that is significantly influenced by mass media. They influence our personal or group activities. Personally I think among all various types of communication media, television is the most effective and after it books play an important role whereas some other media such as theater are less common.

First of all, television is the most public and accessible media such that these days you can find one in every home, it can be used with all age groups from children to adults easily. Also it is very cheap. In contrast, because it is very common it can not used for communicating academic and deep knowledge to experts and professionals.

In the other hand, books have usually got their specific group of readers so they are the best way to concentrate on different groups requirements. As an illustration some books are written to share scientific and deep information among experts while some others are for children. Another advantage of books is that you can read it whenever you want and also how many times you need.

In addition there are some other ways of communication such as theater which are less popular but have their own fans. For example, many of young people especially who are interested in art are attracted by theater as well. Why that theater can transform its message directly to its viewers, its effect is much more than other media.

In general all communicating media are important and have their own advantages and drawbacks. But if I want to communicate with public for example for advertising a product I certainly prefer to use television.
