My mom and dad are both great parents with similar ways of parenting but also very different. Do you ever notice how different your parents are from one each other ? When it comes to what I do with my life, disciple, and supporting me there's a different line with my parents.

Both of my parents love and want what's best for me in my life. My mom wanted me to go to college straight out of high school to get my education first. Unlike my dad who wanted me to join the military and then go to college. My parents both was on the right track on me becoming better with my self. I finally decided to start college straight out of high school and then see how that goes from there.

When I was younger my parents had different ways of showing disciple. If I ever got in trouble my mom would take away the television for a couple of hours and give it back the same day. As I look back now that really wasn't that bad compared to what my dad did. Whereas he would make me learn a song on my piano and play it to earn my belongings back. I would sit in my room and practice for hours and hours. So that when I played it for him it would be right so I could have my things.

I know my parents supports me through whatever I do, they just gave different ways of showing it. My mom supports me by telling me what I need to hear because she thinks that best for me. However my dad tells me what I want to hear. For example, if I wore a outfit my mom didn't like she would come out and tell me she didn't like it. Although my dad wouldn't come out and tell me he didn't like it because he knew I picked it out.
