Online shopping is having adverse effects on more and more local stores in some nations. This essay will provide the issue of this trend and ways to cope with them.
To commence with, shopping on the Internet has negative impacts. Local shops are forced to close due to the convenience and the cheapness of online shopping. Products are almost cheaper and it also offers delivery services, which are more advantageous than going to stores. Furthermore, once this local stores are closed down, it is indeed disadvantageous for low-tech people, especially the elderly. They find it difficult to access the Internet and order goods. Besides, the need for buying things through the Internet might promote the packaging and transportation usage, which contribute to the pollution.
As a result, we need some solutions to tackle this issues. Local shops should adapt to the improvement of the world by offering online sales, and they should also enhance the quality of their products to attract customers. Moreover, the online giants must increase the taxes of online items to balance the online shopping trend with the local stores so that both ways are equal. In addition, people must also become more community minded and aware of the negative consequences for the biodiversity.
To sum up, shopping online does harmfully affect the business of local shops, the community and even the environment. Although there are many ways to solve this problem, in my opinion, technological adaptation is the best way. (244 words)

1. Introduce the topic with an appropriate backgrounder (Prompt restatement)
2. Establish the discussion line using appropriate topic and reasoning references ( writer's opinion)
The discussion line is also called a thesis statement. It tells the reader what the research or opinion paper is about, without telling them just empty information. That is why you have to establish clear discussion topics in response to the given questions. You cannot just say you will be discussing it, tell us why you have to discuss it. How does it relate? To what aspect of the discussion? That way the central discussion of the essay is clearly established.
You cannot refer to the problems as a negative impact discussion. You have to follow the suggestions provided for writing. That means, you refer to the situation as a problem, without mentioning the negative impact. The negative impact reference should be used in the positive or negative writing instruction.
Your essay is short by 6 words. You should write 250 words minimum. There will be deductions based on missing word count. Though the number of missing words does not seem like much, it will have a pass or fail effect on your sectional and overall scoring consideration.
