How's my introduction? I want to make it perfect and then start writing. Feel free to correct my grammar, etc. You may edit to make it better.

Raw food vs Cooked food

Many people do not know about raw foods and the benefits of these raw foods. They just eat cooked and processed food when they are hungry that lacks of nutrients. In addition, there are a lot of foods in American that are either cooked or processed. People do not realize how harmful these foods are and how in danger they may be for eating cooked foods. People think that cooked foods are real food, but in reality, they are not real food at all. The truth is that cooked food has most of the nutrients destroyed due to the heat. Also, Cooking destroys the live enzymes that aid in digestion and health. ." If you eat food that is enzyme-less, your body will not get maximum utilization of the food. This causes toxicity in the body. (Can you guess why over 75% of Americans are overweight?)" -The Living and Raw Foods F.A.Q. There have been many researches by scientific about eating raw foods that they prevent diseases, how good they are for you, and they contain the actual nutrients that our body needs. After I reveal the fact, raw food will the winner.

How about a quote to make it more interesting...
Here is an example.
"There is no sincerer love than the love of food." -George Bernard Shaw

Also alway spell out all the words...
don't = do not
they're = they are

Thanks. I will do that. However, I wrote that. =\
Perhaps I will write more.
This essay is for biology. So she wants us to pretend that we are scientific.

Oh, you said "a" quote? I assume I need just one quote? I don't know what to add.
Is adding what you said fine? :P

Here is my revision...

People do not know true benefits of raw food. Instead, they prefer cooked or processed food that lacks of nutrients. People do not realize how harmful cooked or processed food could be to human body. They believe cooked food is safer and has more nutrients than raw food, but in reality, cooked food has most of the nutrients destroyed due to the heat. Moreover, cooking destroys the live enzymes that aid in digestion and health. .

" If you eat food that is enzyme-less, your body will not get maximum utilization of the food. This causes toxicity in the body. (Can you guess why over 75% of Americans are overweight?)" -The Living and Raw Foods F.A.Q. What format are you using? Make sure to use the correct citation.

As many scientific researches attest, eating raw food can prevent diseases and contains more nutrients than cooked or processed food.

Hope this helps...

I found it at this site : living-foods/faq.html below Why are enzymes important?
Is that a bad quote or I did something wrong there?

Thanks for the help! I appreciate it.

Nothing is wrong with it but what I meant was just make sure to use correct citation that your instructor requires you to use.

Alright, thanks! I am going to start writing and then post it here. It will be a 5 paragraph essay with facts. Also, I have a presentation about this topic. I am going to do a comparison for my presentation, but first I am going to make sure the students know what is raw food, the benefits of it, and what happens when it's cooked. After that, I am going to start comparing raw food vs cooked food nutrients using graph, pictures, etc. I hope this sounds good. This is important for me.

^_^;;

There have been many researches by scientific about eating raw foods that they prevent diseases, how good they are for you, and they contain the actual nutrients that our body needs. After I reveal the fact, raw food will the winner.

- It should be scientist
- For some reason the first two sentences don't balnace out the rest, i mean just make it allittle stronger.
-If this is for biology class then its fine

Hi Shalma,

Which two sentence?

This, "There have been many researches by scientific about eating raw foods that they prevent diseases, how good they are for you, and they contain the actual nutrients that our body needs. After I reveal the fact, raw food will the winner." ?

Oh, and she said it should be related to either science, non-science, or pseudoscience.
I am done with my essay, but if I post it here, she could find it.

After I reveal the fact, raw food will the winner.

Sorry if you didn't like it, just trying to help:)
