Writing Feedback / IELTS (Charts); electricity generation by source in New Zealand and Germany [4]

The pie charts below show electricity generation by source in New Zealand and Germany in 1980 and 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie charts illustrate five different sources to generate electricity from, in New Zealand and Germany in 1980 and 2010.In New Zealand in the year 1980,it is clear that coal was the main source to generate electricity by 56 units from the total of 127 units that were generated.Hydro and natural gas were equal in use by approximately 30 units.Petroleum was the least to be used by 11 units.

In 2010 the use of coal rose from 56 to 150 units and became the main source to get electricity in NewZealand from the total of 214 units. In addition hydro use increased to 46 units. On the other hand natural gas and petroleum became very rare to use by 2 units to each of them.We can see obviously that nuclear energy was not in use to produce electricity in New Zealand in these two years.

In comparison,in Germany in the year 1980 there were two main sources to generate electricity that were coal and natural gas which count 28 for each from the total of 107 units.Petroleum was the next source to be used by 22 units. After that it remains nuclear and hydro use which were the last on the list by 20 and 7 units respectively.

In the year 2010 the nuclear energy went up from 20 to 155 units from the total of 214 units and by that it became the main source to generate electricity from and took approximately 75 % of all the sources to be used.Coal use comes next which stayed at the same level by 28 units.Petroleum had a slight increase by 5 units.Natural gas had a huge decrease from 28 to 2 units and the same is hydro use which decreased from 7 to 2 units and by that they became the least in use.

Overall,it is very clear that each country depended on a different kind of energy to produce electricity. For New Zealand coal was the main source to produce electricity and no nuclear energy was used. For Germany there were two main sources, natural gas and coal but at the end nuclear energy dominated and became the main source to use.

Writing Feedback / IELTS; Increase in crimes among young people - Social & Emotional learning [3]

Recent figures show an increase in violent crime among youngsters under the age of 18. Some psychologists claim that the basic reason for this is that children these days are not getting the social and emotional learning they need from parents and teachers.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Every person has his/her own attitude which comes from many factors that affected and continue to affect that person. The result of this is different kinds of persons with different kinds of actions.Every person sees his actions from a different perspective which may be right or wrong, good or bad,but at the end the person is convinced of what he is doing to be the right thing to do regardless the consequences and that prove that the human nature is very complicated.

The factors that have an effect on the personality of a person are so many, for example:the environment has its own role to paint the person's personality that includes parents, school, teachers, relatives and friends.each one of these has his own way of affecting and that results in having two kinds of people, good people and bad ones.

Having bad people equals having crimes and these crimes are increasing day by day and what is very dangerous that these crimes are committed by very young people who they are under 18,for instance:these people, who are under 18, are killing, stealing and blackmailing others. This phenomenon has many reasons, aspects and results.if we see it from a psychological view,we will see clearly that these persons didn't raise normal and didn't have a normal childhood.they lacked so many things in their childhood like the social life, parents care, wealthy or at least to have a good life and of course most of them lost the opportunity to be educated.all these things reflected the personality of this young persons.when these persons didn't find a shelter which is their parents they ran away and became homeless.moreover when they didn't find a school and teachers to be like their parents they lost their study route and also many of their emotions. In addition when these persons find themselves without a social work or a social life they will reach to the peak of depression and he will become lost.so when they reach this point,i think they will be ready to commit a crime very easily.

I think it is very important to raise children very well and to look after them because what you do in the youngest periods will define who will be this child.and the best you can do is to give the child a very good care, the best education, the main sources of success and whatever he needs whether that is economical or emotional support and by that you will produce an active person who will help in building the society and to be effective in work and also in every thing in life.on the other hand i think it is never too late for someone who committed a crime and is not that younger, there is always a way to fix things and i think in this case it will be rehabilitation.

In conclusion,i think we must study every aspect of this problem and try to find the solutions for it very quickly.everyone of us must have his own role in solving this problem and by hard working nothing is impossible.

Writing Feedback / IELTS writing task 2.........Eating habits and lifestyle of children and their effects [2]

Lifestyle and Eating Habits of New Generation Children

It is obvious that every person has his/her own lifestyle and eating habits and it is clear that you need to eat to continue living your life but sometimes food can be a dangerous thing and it can be a curse if we don't know how to eat or what to eat especially for children whose bodies are still growing and it is like building a house if the bases are wrong it will fall one day.In addition lifestyle is a very important thing and it can be defined as the way the person lives so we really need to know how to live correctly.

In the past children used to have a simple lifestyle. They also had a simple eating habits.for example:people consisting children depended on cereals, milk and its derivatives, vegetables and fruits.that was healthy food to eat.moreover if we look to their lifestyle we can see that it was much better than now because it was active and had less pollutants and that reflected on the whole society so illnesses like cancer was rare and many other illnesses wasn't existed.

Life has changed a lot in every aspect of it.Different sorts of food are available now which may be good or bad.Different things have showed up and changed our life a lot like the new technology. As a result our life style and our children's have dramatically changed too.for example:fast food has spread recently a lot and the result of that was the high numbers in obesity in children which may make the child face too many diseases including diabetes, heart diseases or hypertension.Add on that the new technology and video games and their effects on the child as having sleep disorders, vision problems and sometimes psychological problems.

In conclusion,i think we must look deep in this problem and do the best we can to correct it and that must be quickly and effectively by doing awareness campaigns and raise children in a good way and that can be done by parents, school, friends and the whole society.

Writing Feedback / IETLS; Agree or Disagree on every year several languages die out? [5]

Every year several languages Die out. Some people think that this is not important because life will be easier if there are fewer languages in the world.

Do you agree or disagree?
----------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------

One of the most important things that connects people with each other is the language. There are thousands of languages around the world and each one of them has its own history and it's own people who use it. Some languages are very old, while others are relatively new.

It is true that every year number of languages fade away for many reasons like, the decreased number of people who use the language, another reason is that it may become with no benefits for the on going era.moreover sometimes It's a political reason behind the language.

Some people think that reducing the number of languages worldwide will make our life easier. These People are looking for the incident form one perspective because language goes beyond a tool for communication, It is a history of a civilisation,a mean that has been used to communicate and also to Develop the people themselves or the region which they used to live in. So it isn't a simple thing for a language to Disappear or to die out.

On the other hand some languages are unfamiliar And don't affect a lot worldwide,in addition its local or native speakers are learning new languages because their own language history is weak and no benefits will be gained in continuing to talk and learn this language. So in this case and for a language like that, it doesn't matter for it to continue existing or to die out.

In conclusion every language is important until the native speakers of it forget it and look for a substitute for many reasons. At the moment it will die out and that doesn't necessarily make our life easier, maybe it will make it more difficult. For example when the ancient Egyptians wrote in hieroglyphs and their language vanished,we returned to it with many difficulties to understand it. So we must appreciate languages and never think simply when it comes to lose one because we may lose a huge history when we lose one language.
