Undergraduate / BU supplement: Three words that describe me (dependable, obstinate, analyst) [4]

Hello:)
This is one of my supplements for Boston University.
Please help, suggest or criticize anything!
Thank you so much.

In an essay of no more than 500 words, please select three words that describe you best and tell us how you will use these qualities/characteristics to contribute fully to the BU community.

I am obstinate. I am dependable. I am an analyst. People tell me and I also agree that those three words are the best to describe me. I want to develop these traits at BU to become a better person. I hope my characteristics will help others and myself, and come up with a good solution for any situations. I am an obstinate, dependable analyst.

I am obstinate. I cannot give up things that I want or change my mind until I understand why I have to. I may be selfish but it also means that I trust myself. I believe that you cannot trust someone before you trust yourself. My dream is to become a business lawyer in the future. I understand it is a long difficult path to walk on but I will keep on going until the time when I realize I have to walk on a different path. I want to contribute to BU by being honest to everyone and to myself. I am an obstinate dependable analyst, who trusts myself.

I am dependable. To get depended on by people is a valuable thing. At the same time it is one of the most important things to earn. Since when I was young, I loved to be the leader of everything I do. It can be projects, sports or at the playground. I asked my friends what they wanted to play and organized their opinion into one decision. I was the Student Council President back in Middle School. I gave ideas and listened to other students on they were hoping for to make our middle school into one. I was the Captain for the volleyball team in high school. I listened to my teammates' problems and give them advices to make our team better as a team. I want to build up many skills at BU so that many people can start to depend on me. I am a dependable, obstinate analyst, who listens and respect other's opinion to make things into one.

I am an analyst. I put situations, arguments or anything into puzzling pieces and put them together little by little to get the best solution as possible. If my friend is having a difficult time with a relationship, I put myself into that person's position and tackle from the first issue. Then after tackling all the little issues, I put them together and make out one big solution. I will contribute to BU by helping others and my own problems in classrooms, dorms or outside of school. I am an obstinate, dependable analyst who wants to understand the situation carefully for secure results.

I want to use these traits to achieve my full potential by challenging every opportunity at Boston University. I consider them as good traits so why not use them? Those are the best words that describe me, and I am proud of myself. I am an obstinate, dependable analyst. This is who I am without counting my outgoing humor.

Undergraduate / NYU all four supplements:Yoko Ono, storylines, poem, diversity [2]

Hi. Please give me opinions with my NYU supplements.
My weakness is my grammar so if you see any, please tell me!
Supplement 2 is little over 500 character so if you have any suggestions which part to delete,
please suggest!
Thank you!

1. If you had the opportunity to spend one day in New York City with a famous New Yorker, who would it be and what would you do?

My journey in NYC will be with Yoko Ono. We will first walk around Central Park to talk about ourselves then head to museums to share and feel the love and power of art. Then we will go out to eat at a Japanese restaurant. I want to share our perspectives about the world especially about New York and Tokyo. Lastly, we will go to "Top of the Rock" and Yoko would teach me what is important in life underneath our favorite sky looking towards our beloved city, New York is where my new life will begin.

2. In the year 2050, a movie is being made of your life. Please tell us the name of your movie and briefly summarize the story line.

"Passion" is the name of the movie. People and cars are passing by fast. It is similar to my life that passes by fast and I left something behind. Juna, who is a busy business lawyer, thought her life was fulfilled until she found her old camera. She sees a flashing light through the finder, and then was swallowed up in what she saw through the finder. She went back and meets herself 40years ago. She found out that she couldn't go back to the present time, unless she finds what she left behind. As the time goes by spending time with herself, Juna started to get what she left behind her--"passion".

3. Write a haiku, limerick, or short (eight lines or less) poem that best represents you.
Neon lights in different colors that surround me shine,
Tall buildings that surround me in powerful stance hurl,
Diverse people that surround me make time seems go away,
I strive for my dream in a busy and ultra-modern world,
I laugh, cry and irate like everyone do everyday,
The story of my life is looking in a haphazardly way,
But I am the heroine of my life.
I am going to make everything shine in my life.

4. Please tell us what led you to select your anticipated academic program and/or NYU school/college, and what interests you most about your intended discipline.

What I value the most is diversity. It is because of the community of International School taught me how diversity makes this world so interesting. I believe that New York is an accurate reflection of our world for any fields and NYU is where many students all around the world gather to study and to make connections. It can be fashion, music, art or business. I want to absorb and try everything I can in NYU, where they'll provide me with diverse opportunities with diverse people.

Undergraduate / My goal is major in mechanical engineering and enhancing the unmanned technology, especially in cars [3]

Hello.

I think it's a good start!
But in my opinion, you should separate a sentence, "My goal is major...and I make my mind to Ohio State University for achieve my goal." into two sentences

If you end the sentence with "...military weapons." and start with a new sentence stating how you want to achieve your goals at Ohio State University, I think your feeling towards OSU stands out better.

Good luck!

Undergraduate / Political Science Dept/ Study Abroad Why Tufts (50 words) [7]

Hi. I'm not sure my opinion will help but...
I think you should put little details.
How many characters are left? If you have enough characters for a sentence,
you should definitely put a little detail like why you want "a research university with a liberal arts feeling" or anything else. But I think it's a good start!

I know how difficult to write 500 characters essays:s Good luck!

NYU supplement.
Hello I'm new here but please help me out!!
it's supposed to be within 500 words but it's 532 words now so please help me out to delete some parts and grammar mistakes!

In the year 2050, a movie is being made of your life. Please tell us the name of your movie and briefly summarize the story line.

Juna saw a flashlight through a scale. Then she was in a world she knew before. She was surrounded by neon lights, busy streets, and many human beings. Then she found a girl walking with a starbucks' coffee and earphones plugged in. The moment Juna saw her she understood where she was. Juna was not in year 2020 but she was in year 2010, when she was a senior.

Juna went to international school in Japan until 12th grade then graduated at NYU and she became a busy business lawyer who works for one of the biggest fashion brands in the world. She always felt her dream came true and her life was fulfilled. Her everyday routine starts by waking up at 6:30am every morning to get a cup of coffee and to open up "Business Week". Then she heads to her company and work until she thinks it is perfectly done.

One day after a meeting with her client, she met her old friend, Hannah. Then they ended up doing a typical long-time-no-see talk and heard how Hannah was doing art as her career with passion. After Juna got back to her home, She felt something was missing in her. But she did not what that was. Not an object but something more. Without thinking anything, she went to her garage and looked for her old junks. In bottom of the box, she found her aged camera. She felt some kind of aura when she held her camera. Then she looked through the scale and clicked to take a photo.

Juna saw a flashlight through a scale. Then she was back in Tokyo 2010. She did not understand the situation she was in. She thought she was dreaming but when she found 18 years old Juna walking towards her friends, Juna felt relaxing. Juna walked towards young Juna like she was manipulated and introduced herself as "Jena" who graduated the same school as young Juna. That was when they first met.

It was difficult for "Jena" to talk to herself but it was the most interesting thing for her to experience. As time goes by young Juna and "Jena" became good friends who can talk about anything to each other. They spent so much time like if they were best friends from long time ago. Young Juna talked about a boy she liked, what she liked to do on the weekend or complained about her school but with full of passion. When "Jena" went to young Juna's facebook page she found a quote, "Jump out the window if you are the object of passion. Flee it if you feel it. Passion goes, boredom remains.--- by Coco Channel." Then Juna finally realized what she was missing in her.

Passion. That is what she needed in her. By looking and talking to young Juna, she learned and remembered so many things she forgot such as what she was dreaming for and how she had passion. Juna picked up her camera and she clicked to take a photo. Then she saw a flashlight through the scale again. She was back in 2020 living with full of dreams and passion for her future.
