Writing Feedback / Tiltle: What are the positive and negative efects of tourism on a place that you know well? [2]

One place that I love is Ho Chi Minh city. Tourism has brought so many benefits to the city but also it has many negatives. For positives, it helps the city grow economic value and reputation. For example, each year in Ho Chi Minh City welcomes from one million to three millions tourists visit to many famous places such as: The Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Nha Rong Harbour.... Then, they enjoy some local cuisines of three major regions and join many activities with kind local people in here. In addition, tourists help local people benefit and busineses are make a lot of money by hotel revenue. So, this many things help Ho Chi Minh City grow a beautiful profit and economic evelopment. On the other hand, it also brings many negatives to the life of local people, animals, and enviroment. For example, in 2024, 60% visitors littered on the streets or many travel location. It increases pollution harming the health some people, animals live in there. In addition, the high room rates during peak season is also a negative side.

Hi! I think you should read books by easy English writers. Some good writers are:

Roald Dahl (fun stories, easy words)
J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter, simple English)
Eric Carle (for very easy reading)
C.S. Lewis (The Chronicles of Narnia, good for learners)
These writers use simple language and are fun to read. Good luck with English!

Student Talk / I am a bit shy, when I have to speak in English, I always worry about my mistakes; I lack confidence [47]

I used to feel very shy when I had to speak English. I was constantly worried about making mistakes, and that made me lack confidence. My friends would just talk freely in English, and somehow they managed to get their messages across, even if they didn't speak perfectly. My teacher told me that if I don't try to learn and practice English, I'll never be able to use it when I really need it someday. I realized that I often limit myself by only practicing in my room, thinking it's enough. But I believe that trying to speak more, even when I'm nervous, really helps. Keep practicing and don't give up-little by little, I think we can improve!

Student Talk / Can you teach me how to write and speak in English... [20]

Hi! I used to struggle with learning English too, but I found some helpful methods. First, I practice writing a little each day-like writing about my day or my favorite hobbies. Watching movies or listening to songs in English also helped me improve my speaking and understanding. Speaking with friends or language partners is really important, even if I make mistakes-that's how I learn! If you stay consistent and patient, you'll see progress. Just keep practicing and don't give up!

Writing Feedback / Writing task 2: Extinct animals [2]

TOPIC: IT IS A NATURAL PROCESS FOR ANIMAL SPECIES TO BECOME EXTINCT (E.G. DINOSAUR, DODOS ...) THERE IS NO REASON WHY PEOPLE SHOULD TRY TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING. DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE?

Some people believe there are not enough reasons to protect animal species from extinction, thinking it happens naturally. However, I disagree with this view. This essay will discuss why it is important to save wildlife and what can happen if we fail to do so.
It is true that many ancient species, like dinosaurs, became extinct millions of years ago due to slow changes in climate and sea levels. However, today, the main cause of species loss is human activity. Industries hurt wildlife habitats and disturb the food chain, which leads to many animals disappearing. Also, the growing need for products like skins and horns has led to increased poaching of endangered species, including rhinoceroses. Therefore, it is our responsibility to take action to reduce these problems.
In addition, saving wild animals is important because they play essential roles in our ecosystem and affect our lives. All parts of nature are connected, so if one species goes extinct, it can negatively impact many other animals and plants. Wild animals also have cultural and aesthetic importance. They add to the biodiversity that makes our planet beautiful. For example, in several cultures, certain animals, like cows, are seen as sacred.
In conclusion, the loss of various animal species is not just a natural process; it is often caused by human actions. We have a duty to help protect wildlife because their extinction can significantly impact many key areas of our lives. Therefore, we should take steps to conserve animal species for future generations and the health of our environment.
