ANSWER
Currently, the growing traffic issues and pollution problems are severe in some big cities like Beijing and Shanghai. According to a survey, the average time length spent on the road to work has reached nearly three hours for an individual in Beijing. Therefore, the authority raises a lot measures to control the serious conditions, one of the methods is to improve the price of petrol. As far as I am concerned, there is little correlation between the pollution issues and the petrol consuming by normal citizens. Some other methods may work well.

It is no doubt that the rising price of gasoline has exerted some positive effects on the control of traffic problems. Increasing number of residents prefer to work by public transportation, considering that driving private cars induces a large financial output. At the same time ,the air is getting cleaner with less vehicles on roads. However, it is a problem for the employees whose houses are far from the working locations, because taking subways with a fixed line can be time wasting. They would prefer a private drive for convenience regardless of the spending on the gasoline. Look from this perspective, the rise of petrol cannot solve all the problems which we meet at present. Some comprehensive measurements should be implemented.

At present, the state implements some other measures to constrain the booming traffic, such as improving the identifying level of purchasing vehicles and odd-even traffic restrictions. In this way a large number of cars are limited to be driven on roads. The contamination problems get remission at the same time.

To sum up, the select of increasing the price of petrol has its advantages. But ,it is not the best way to reach a satisfied target. Some other measures like odd-even traffic restrictions should be implemented simultaneously.

A famous scientist once said Edison would be astonished if he saw the use of telephone. Obviously, telecommunicating has dramatically changed our normal life. In modern times, the earth has become a small village, one can get in touch with anybody else through telephone or Internet.

In old days , each member of society had to go out and talk to the other members to accomplish normal affairs. Undoubtedly it was time consuming. Comparing with ancient times, it seems that we can do anything without face to face contacts in actual life now. Many youngsters make friends all over the world and share their happiness and sadness through Twitter, Facebook and so on. For many white collars, they prefer to work at home and deal with company issues by sending and receiving e-mails. What changed our normal life mostly is the electrical business, you can buy anything you could imagine through virtual markets online. Peoples' relationships with each other varies a lot with the new life style they have chosen.

As the booming of telecommunicating , Individuals' relationships seem to be closer than before. But I must say the new type of contacting induces some severe social problems. For instance , people cannot sense the true feeling of the object they are "talking " to ,because they are accustomed to typing letters instead of video chatting. Some criminals cheat for money in this way. On the other hand, spending most of time chatting with the strangers is not helpful to one's mental development. A close friend in real life is important.

To sum up, telecommunicating has made our life more convenient than before, but some negative aspects should be aware of.

How to cultivate children into a good member of society? From some individuals' perspective, parents play an important role in teaching their offspring in daily life. While the others hold the opinion that school should take the obligation to make each child a useful people in the future. As far as I see it , the influence unwise to separate the influence is equally important in moulding one's characteristic and behavior.

A good member of society must behave gently and elegantly in public. For most people ,they learn the right behavior from their family. For instance, they will simulate their parents actions like being friendly to others, dressing neatly , smiling warmly and eating meals quietly. An elegant person certainly comes from a well-educated family. I remember when I was young, my mother always told me to walk slightly and other behaviors. Therefore, it is needless to say that the role of parents in fostering a child's behavior is crucial.

On the other hand, the effects of school should not be ignored. A child spends most of his or her time with teachers and mates. They acquire a lot of useful knowledge by attending a variety of classes like literature, mathematics, music ,physics and drawing. They could communicate with each other and deal with the interrelationship with capabilities obtained by literature. And music and drawing facilitate them experiencing the beauty of life. Taking part in activities in physical class can teach them how to work together as a team. The most important is school teaches children basical skills to seek a good job when they grow up. Obviously, the influence of school on children's education is also huge.

To sum up ,it is unwise to separate the influence of parents and school on fostering a child into a useful person in society. Neither of the function can be substituted by the other one.

In the midst of increasing fierce competition in airline industries, many air companies provide a cheap air travel in order to attract more clients. many individuals who live in relatively needy families think it a good opportunity for them to go around . While for other individuals,the cheap air travelling leaves a deep impression of inferior service and may bring some safety considerations . as far as I am concerned ,the benefits it brings overweight its demerits .

for many youngsters who earn less salary ,it is their dream to visit other places and by aeroplane. But they could not afford the luxury trip. fortunately ,a cheap travel can provide them a chance to get in touch with a different civilization of somewhere else . on the other hand ,it may also bring countless benefits and profits for the air companies who promote the project, especially for those who are suffering from economic cricis.

on the other hand ,the burgeon of cheap travel followed by some problems. According to my own experiences ,the cheap air travel is always short distances and the service items provided is narrow. In addition ,the issues people concern first is the safety. even the air company has promised a safe and enjoyable trip , the consumers would worry about it more or less .

to sum up ,the modern technology has made travelling by air safe and comfortable. and the services can be modified to meet the demand of clients. An exciting experience is beckoning, why not book a ticket and have some fun at once?

In modern times ,how to maintain the balance of the competition and cooperation is a serious problem, especially for young people who lacks a correct attitude to interrelationship and jop atmosphere. Many youngsters have been told by their parents to live a competing life, while others are informed that cooperation is more important. As far as I see it, one's comprehensive development need both competition and cooperation.

The ability of compete is the basic demand of the society. losing the ability means losing a job opportunity. Have a look at the job market , thers are countless employees expecting the same position. competition is the best method to choose the outstanding person. on the other hand, the sense of competition has deeply rooted in our traditional custom. Lagging behind leaves one vulnerable to attacks.

Cooperation should not be neglected when emphasizing the beneficial of competing .there exists a limit of one's ability,one cannot achieve anything without the assist of his or her colleagues. Many great projects ,such as the depicting the human genes , are completed with the cooperation of many scientists from different countries .

To sum up, in the midst of the fierce development time , the competition and cooperation are both beneficial.
