At universities and colleges sports and other social activities are just as important as classes and libraries and should receive equal financial supports.

It is undeniable that social activities like sport are popular topics which have caused heated debate over a long period of time because they affect everybody in his daily lives. Depending on personal experience, personality type, and emotional concern, people differ greatly in their attitudes towards this issue. We find that some people hold the idea that sports and social activities are very important just like the other courses at university; on the contrary, others maintain that we shouldn't waste the money for these kinds of activities. From my point of view, social activities at universities or colleges are as important as other classes and should receive equal financial support. There exist countless factors which influence this opinion; two of those are the effect of social activities on student's characters and the other is the feeling of comfort and relaxed that the students will receive by doing social activities.

The main aspect to point out is that doing social activities make a strong effect on student's personality. it can improve their confidence and make them ready to deal with the problems they may have during their study and also they will be learned very efficiently by working in groups and being in touch with other students.

A further more subtle point is that by doing social activities specially sports, students feel fresh and they are more relax and comfort. Students who do these activities have fewer errors in their job at university. for example when I was at university we have sport class every Saturday I was very excited the day before my class and I felt really fresh when it got finished.

From what has been discussed above, we may finally reach the conclusion that social activities and sports are just as important as classes and other courses and universities and colleges should spend equal money to develop them.

Different people have different kinds of life style. Nowadays keeping pets and treating them is a common way for some people to use their free time and make their life more enjoyable and exciting. I believe that pets can be very helpful and play an important role in our life because of two reasons: first: they can be our friends and help us in difficult situations, second: we can receive positive energy from them. Thus these undeniable reasons drive me to confirm that pets should be treated like family members.

First and foremost: pets are reliable and honest. They are our real friends who don't know how to tell lie and even in many situations they can be very useful for us. There are many examples of their role in our life. For individuals: they can help disables people to do their daily life like crossing the street or bringing things for them. For society: they can be a kind of police force by helping the police in difficult missions and for the families: they can do house works or taking care of babies.

The last but not the least: just like the human, animals have emotions and you can receive their energy very strongly. You can feel this easily if you have animals beside you. For example we have a big aquarium with several beautiful fish in our apartment and every night before sleeping I use to feed and watch them for at least half an hour. Just by doing this simple job, I feel relaxed and comfort during the night.

As a result not only pets can be our best and helpful friends but also they bring happiness for us. So we should treat them as family members.

There are many important leaders who have made changes in people's life all over the world but in my view the preeminent leader of Indian independence movement in British-ruled India, Mahatma Gandhi, is the most important spiritual guide in contemporary world.

Most of us know him and certainly have heard about his role in the history of India but how much information do we have about his personality? Gandhi not only led India to independence and inspired movements for civil right and freedom but also has several specific characters which make him different from other leaders.

The most important character of him is that he was the first people who propound the principle of non-violence and tried to develop this concept in the world. Truth is another aspect of Gandhi. He devoted his life to the wider purpose of discovering truth and honesty. He tried to achieve this by learning from his own mistakes. The other point that should be mentioned is his popularity among Indian because of his simple life. He strongly believed that a real leader whose goal is helping to the people, should be a modest and humble man.

Because of these and many other factors Mahatma Gandhi was a great leader who could change India to a unified, powerful and effective country in the world.

Nowadays the matter of public transportation in many countries is a crucial part of nation's challenges. Some people believe that governments are under obligation to support public transportation whereas a large group of people flatly reject this idea. In this essay I want to mention some advantages and disadvantages of financial support of public transportation by governments. 57

Firstly, the advantages of funding public transportation by governments: Imagine major cities of the world without public transport network! How do people travel to work, to school and to see their friends and families? what are the effects? The answer is clear a city without public transport is a city that regularly grint to halt. When public transit gets people out of their car the results will be less congestion, less pollution and fewer accidental injuries and deaths. In addition a further advantages is that by using public transport there are less traffic jams. Funding public transportation system can come from variety of different sources. This includes: sales taxes, general revenues, development fees and commercial sponsorship by businesses. 118

Secondly, disadvantages of providing financial support for public transit: The major flaw in this case can be creating financial burden for the government because the income is less than expenses and it seems somehow non- profitable. costs in security, repairs and maintenance of the vehicles are the most important matters and for the governments especially in developing countries it causes difficulties. 61

In conclusion, one of the most important factors of social welfare is public transport system and it is an strong reason for governments to support it. 26
