In many countries today insufficient respect is shown to older people. What do you think may be the reason for this? What problems might this cause in society?

Some people believe that due to the rapid changes occurring in the modern world, it is not necessary to show respect to older people. Contrary to the past times, when the older persons were given highest priority and respect in the society, nowadays, in many countries older people are treated rudely and they are not getting the deserved attention and respect. For now, whether this trend is progressive or regressive, the reason why this happening are found to be numerous.

From my point of view, with the advancement of technology and humans' busy life there is a huge change in people's culture and human relationships. The human life has become more technologically dependent, mechanical and stressful. We are not have enough time to spend with our parents or grandparents who are getting older with time. This loss of communication has adverse effect on human relations. This situation makes the mental distance between generations even longer.

But older people are the base and backbone of the country. Most of them are full of experience and knowledge. They are the proofs and live evidence of all the changes going on in the society. Unfortunately, young people of present generation have the opinion that old people are clumsy and old-fashioned, and they are not much useful in this highly developed world, which is a completely wrong way of thinking.

In conclusion, there is no reason to show some special attitude to the person based on their age. This is just the number of the years that a person lived. However, being respectful to all people around you by default is completely the foundation of our society and essential condition of further sustainable development.

Nowadays urban sprawl is considered to pose serious problems. At the same time the idea of having your own house is very attractive.
Give opinion, think of possible solution.

Historically big cities are often seen as places of great opportunities. But there are also some major drawbacks of living in a megalopolis. In my point of view, the problem of ever growing cities is a very controversial issue for either the government or an average person.

The main aspect for someone who wants to migrate to a big city is the cost of living. Inhabitants of cities always have to pay higher price for housing, transport and even food. Another issue is that urban areas tend to suffer different social issues such as high crime rates or neighbours' inadequate behaviour. Furthermore, the air quality is getting worse even each day in the cities with highly developed industrial production. As a result, city life can be stressful and harmless for your health.

However, there are couple of steps that the government can take to tackle these problems. First of all, for the controlling of enormously growing city areas the should take under regulation each and every new building in the city. Secondly, it is necessary to build green areas surrounding blocks of flats or a mall to soften the impact of poor air condition. The third option can be to develop provincial towns, rural areas and villages, by moving some industry and jobs to those regions, in order to reduce the pressure on major cities and prevent them from uncontrolled sprawling. More than that, the undeveloped and rural areas are the best places for building your own separate house.

In conclusion, urban sprawl tends to become the key problem of the ongoing XXI century. Governments could certainly implement a range of measures to enhance the quality of life for all city residents and organise sustainable development of city's territory in the future.

Writing Feedback / Men and women are different in the way they behave and are treated [3]

'Men and women are, and always will be, different in the way they behave and are treated'. Do you agree with this statement?

It is a very controversial issue whether women and men have different natural ability or not. There are many arguments supporting both views, those for and those against. Moreover, there is much evidence that proves some significant differences between male and female from genetic and natural habits approach.

On the one hand, it can not be overlooked that men and women have clear difference in physical appearance which make them suitable for different types of work. For example, a man can be a good mechanical engineer or builder because he can work under tremendous pressure at a factory and struggle with different kinds of problems and interact with workmen who might have quite violent behaviour. In contrast, the woman who has the same job, can not handle all the problems and step by step she might run into several mental problems at her workplace which seriously impact her life. Furthermore, some evidence shows that women who are psychologists are twice as successful as men in the same position. They are patient and good listeners when people talk about their problems. Of course, it can not be forgotten that there are some exceptions in any fields.

On the other hand, these days, due to several economical problems, women have to work just to earn money. They have to get a job regardless of their natural abilities. In some cases, women like to experience different kinds of jobs that they were banned from doing in the past. For instance, they tend to work as top managers or politicians and the governments in several countries provide them with great opportunities to get these kinds of jobs.

In conclusion, I believe that although there are several males and females who would be able to do any type of activity equally, their significant differences in natural habits and physical abilities should be taken into consideration by government and society.
