-Study plan for a bachelor's degree course (Please state the reason you choose such universities and departments (or majors), your academic goals, specific plans (including timeline) to achieve them, and future plan after completion of your study. Here goes:

Technology is a great part of society and I would love to take part in the majority not minority. I found Electrical Engineering as my dream major since I was growing up and the likes of my father who is also an Engineer encouraged me further because he has always had a vision that I will take over from him and change the world in the best way I can. I chose engineering because I belive engineers are problem solvers and I derive pleasure in understanding someones problem and profering a lasting solution to that problem. I also chose electrical engineering amongst a host of others because of its extremely broad nature making me have access to a great deal of knowledge not limiting me to very little of that knowledge.

I chose these three universities , ABC, XYZ and EFG for the primary reason that they all offer the course I want to major in. Also, I chose these universities because they are top in the list of Korean universities and they are located at prominent areas in South Korea which would help me get acquainted with their way of life easily. One more reason that made me choose these universities is the fact that they have alot of activities that would help my study be more interesting and prolific ranging from various clubs, research groups, social festivals, extra curricular activities like sports and a host of others.

As a determined student, I seek to achieve the highest I can with the time I will spend for this undergraduate program therefore investing my time wisely. Graduating from any of the fore-mentioned universities with a first class result will be my foremost goal. I also look forward to venturing into international competitions and winning awards for my university with the knowledge I will acquire from my university and also from deep research.

In my first year(2017-2018), I will first get myself acquainted with the university system and environment to enable me settle down properly. I will do this by joining clubs and societies and participating in extracurricular activities to get myself fully engrossed in the university system. I will also acquaint myself with the rules and regulations of the university to make me have a save study program without the suspension or termination of my scholarship. I will also aim at achieving 100percent attendance in all my classes through out my stay in the school and to continually review my lessons for better understanding. Making friends will also help me get acquainted with the university so I will make this a priority also.

In my second year(2018-2019), I wish to start conducting researches in my field of study. With the help of the facillities in the university, I think this would be very effective. A saying goes that " No man is an Island", therefore, I seek to join research groups to also help me benefit form other students such as myself. Doing this, I will be exposed to those areas in my major that have not yet been explored granting me knowledge that can change the world for the better.

In my third year(2019-2020), I will continue with my research work and use the knowledge I will gather to carry out projects. This projects would help me to practicalise my theories giving me more knowledge on the practical aspect of engineering. It would also help me invent new machines that will affect the world positively and I would also work on projects that will cater for the problems in electrical energy generation.

In my fourth and last year(2020-2021), I will continue with my research and project work and then create a group in which I can use as a medium to influence other students with my accumulated knowledge and understanding. By doing this I think I can build up students that will also affect the world as I plan to do by sharing experiences and ideas and also embarking on projects. All these mentioned will be at the background of my study while hardwork and concentration will accompany my undergraduate course at the foreground.

After my four years of study, I hope to stay back in South Korea for a number of years to work and serve the country that has contributed greatly in my life by offering me a scholarship for my undergraduate program. I also plan to further my studies in Korea to continue the journey already started. After serving Korea, I will come back to my country to also impact the system with the knowledge I have acquired. I wish to take over my father's company and use it as a medium to effect change in my country and the world, increasing the company thereby providing employment opportunities. I also wish to start a non profit enterprenuership program to help the less priviledge get the required skills they need to survive.

This is the first part of my Study plan for applying for the KGSP. Please i would like you to go through it and help me with corrections and your opinion on it. Thank you very much this means alot to me.

Here goes:

Learning a totally different language is a goal that requires intense determination, hardwork and planning. Right from childhood, English has always been a compulsory subject in all my levels of education. This has made me very proficient in English Language as I got a distinction in my final year exam in High School. Still, my primary goal in language profieciency is to learn the Korean Language.

Ever since High School, I have been fascinated by the Korean Language-Hangeul, from watching Korean Movies to reading Korean Magazines and especially Korean Music right from the onset of PSY's hit song Gangnam Style. Ever since, K-drama and K-pop has been a part of my life. I started scouting for the best Korean movies,series and songs to enable me become conversant with hearing the Korean Language. I spend my leisure time to carry on research on the Korean Culture and tradition. After High School, I enrolled in a Korean Language Course in the Korean Cultural Centre in my country. I plan to complete this course before my arrival to Korea.

Participating in this course has enabled me to have the basic knowledge of Hangeul. As of now, I can understand and respond in basic conversations in Korean, count Korean numbers, read books written in Korean hangeul, read signposts in hangeul, write in Korean Hangeul and also listen to Korean music without being totally lost and clueless. It has also helped me to acquire books and magazines from the centres library for futher study on the Korean culture. I plan to build on this existing foundation. Through the help of my father, I have acquired Korean Language books that are more advanced than my undergoing Language Course. Therefore I plan to study each and every one of them and to make sure I maintain atleast a level 3 in TOPIK before coming to Korea.

After my arrival in Korea, I plan to build on my previous knowledge and reach the required level in less than a year and then completing the course to achieve up to level 5 in TOPIK. I plan to continually revise every single lesson I have until it is a part of me and also not hessitate to get help and assistance in any area of difficulty. I plan to indulge in various activities like painting, drawing, attending cultural festivals and so on to help me build my knowledge about the Korean Culture from thier food, dressing, morals, doctrines and thier lifestyle in general.

Making effective conversations is key in learning a totally different language. So therefore, making friends will be at the top of my priority list granting me the effective conversation I need. I plan to converse only in Korean to the people around me making the Korean language a lifestyle for me. I plan to volunteer in the language institute to offer my services in any way possible. Perhaps in helping other students from Countries that are not English speaking with my knowledge of English to increase their English speaking proficiency for this will strike up mutual benefits.

I plan to completely engulf myself into the Korean Language program as I prepare for my degree program. This would help me speak Korean naturally without difficulty. There is a saying that goes "Learning a new language is opening a new window for you to view the world." and I hope to succesfully open this window through the Korean language program and view the world from a Korean perspective.

Here goes:

Growing up as a child, I was always inclined towards innovation and technology but in contrast, I was brought up in a country where technology is not much on the innovative side. Electricity is seldom available, people dieing in hospitals because of sub-standard machines, products and machines are never manufactured rather they are being imported and so on. This did not match up the mindset that I had already built about technology stirring up the passion in me to cause a change in my country and also the world. I see technology as a basic necessity in the human life and should be available to everyone who needs it so i have decided to apply for this scholarship to make this dream feasible.

With the help and support of my parents I have succesfully completed all my levels of education up to this point. In high school, i was elected as a House Captain which gave me the opportunity to serve my school selflessly to the best of my abilities. I was a member of the JETS Club(Juniour Engineers, Technicians and Scientists) in my school. During this period I embarked on various researches and projects such as The design and manufacture of an Inverter.This experience has built my knowledge of Math, Physics and even Chemistry which are my core subjects as a Prospective Engineer. Throughout my High School, I spend my holidays with my Father in his Solar company. Doing this, I was exposed to more insight knowledge and training on the generation of electricity through solar panels which is a renewable energy gradually taking over the world. I have gone on field works, installations and structural designing giving me an essential experience in my field of study.

From childhood I have being a member of The Boys Brigade, an organisation that trains young boys to be disciplined and focused. Joining this organisation has made me partake in various community services such as clearing of gutters, construction of roads and drainage systems, clearing of bushes, visitations to orphanages and even providing security for the community. I also gained the experience of survival in critical conditions. I have enroled myself into a Trade course in Electrical Installation and Maintenance Work providing me with the do's and dont's of Electrical Installations and how to start up a business in this field. In my High School, I succesfully started a group called TMS(Tenacious Men of Success). This group has helped my school to see technology from a different view and perspective. This group did not only deal on technology alone but also on Social events that brought students together for better interaction through musical concerts. I have also secured a Certificate in Citizenship and Leadership Training which has also added to my realisation of leadership and criterias of being a good leader.

Korea, as a country modernised in technology judging by the country's infrastructure and also Korean coorperatons like Hyundai,Samsung and LG has made Korea a very fascinating place to study engineering. I would like to further my studies in Korea to enable me acquire the knowledge I need for the developement I hope to bring to the world. I hope to be selected for this scholarship to aid me financially and also intellectually enabling me to make a mark on the Universe as I have always dreamed of.
