Writing Feedback / IELTS WRITING TASK 1: The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured [3]

The diagram below shows how instant noodles are manufactured.

Summaries the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

Answer:
The given picture depicts the manufacturing process for instant noodles. Overall, the entirely man-made operation includes 8 stages commencing with raw ingredients and finishing with packing for eventual consumption.

The process of producing instant noodles begins in flour storage silos. The flour is transported and fed into a mixing machine, where it is combined with water and oil from another source. Following this stage, the resulting mixture is rolled out to form dough sheets before going through factory machinery to be separated into strips

During the next stage, these dough strips are formed into compact " Noodles discs" which will be fried in oil and left to dry in the next step. Next, the fried noodles discs are ultimately arranged in cups with assorted vegetables and spices. The final part of the production process is to label and seal contents so that the finished cups of instant noodles are ready for sale.

Writing Feedback / IELTS ACADEMIC WRITING TASK 2: Adverts to persuading potential buyers [3]

Some people say that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things.
Other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Write at least 250 words

In recent years, the exponential growth of e-commerce and entertainment online platforms leading to an exponentially flourishing advertisement industry is particularly effective at influencing consumers purchasing decisions. Therefore, while some argue that advertisements have become so commonplace that customers are no longer affected by them, I agree with those who believe that advertising nowadays is still exceedingly powerful.

On the one hand, it is true that social media platforms bombard users with tremendous amounts of advertising. The most noticeable aspect of the appearance of these advertisements is that it is based on extraordinary marketing strategies of marketing companies. For example, if we search for a bag on Google, we will see constantly repeated commercials about bags on our Facebook page. The administrators of social media networks are continuously observing us via our touchpoints and internet searches and provide relevant adverts based on this information, promoting clients' purchasing decisions. That is why commercializing products through the media and other billboards continues to be a common attract public attention. Hence, I absolutely agree with the advertising' overwhelming in influencing us to buy.

On the other hand, it could be argued that the magical power of advertising has begun to fade through a negative attitude of individuals since they have been aware of the unreliableness of ads. Some brand marketers generally tend to polish the sales message to attract and motivate customers to purchase their products. Unfortunately, customers cannot experience usage and file complaints on social networking sites or entertainment online platforms such as Tiktok. Because of the constant growth and pervasiveness of social media, individuals believe these feedbacks and lose faith in commercials, especially in the cosmetics industry.

To conclude, while ordinary citizens are likely to have a negative perspective toward advertising, advertisers are nevertheless able to discover potential buyers because of the massive data they have. As the result, I feed it still productive since it develops a desire in people to purchase products.

Writing Feedback / IELTS TASK 1 | The graph shows the average Japanese month salary, and the prices of different TVs [3]

Your essay is really too long for IELTS writing task 1, which only requires at least 150 words. You should write between 160 and 200 words. It's not advice, but if you want to describe a line in detail and it has a similar line, just write "a comparable pattern was repeated in...". Umm, I usually use this structure when the graph has a lot of elements... but you could try...

Writing Feedback / People buy a range of household goods ( positive or negative development? ) [3]

There is a slight inconsistency here. You stated in the introduction paragraph that "the drawbacks significantly outweigh the benefits." However, in Body 1, you wrote about the positive impact, whereas in Body 2, you wrote about the negative impact. It is possible that the task achievement score is low.

Writing Feedback / Considerable growth in global tourism nowadays [2]

IELTS WRITING TASK 2: INTERNATIONAL TOURISM

Topic:
International tourism is now more common than ever before.
Some feel that this is a positive trend, while others do not.

What are your opinions on this?

Answer:

Recent years have seen considerable growth in global tourism. Yet, there remain some controversies as to whether the overall effect of this tendency has been positive or negative. While there are certainly valid arguments to contrary, I personally believe that the benefits of international holiday making far outweigh its drawbacks. There are two primary reasons for this.

Firstly, global tourism tends to export many positive aspects of the young generation's knowledge. It's an undeniable fact that this trend revolutionizes personal understanding and tolerance between people of different cultures which creates knowledgeable citizens over the world. For example, along with the booming increase of the desire for their children to travel oversea, there has in fact been a proportional growth in the achievement of multinational knowledge, as well as the positive attitudes toward distant nations among youth. Despite the trivial changes it has been bringing, it's a significant step toward developing potential generation.

Further and even more salient, though, is the undeniable economic prosperity it has brought to many destination countries. Since most international tourists are frequently affluent, the influx of them has provided a remarkable fortune, especially for developing countries like Vietnam. Admittedly, the moral decadence of tourists has been causing environmental degradation, however, with the dominant cash flow and regulations relating to ecological preservation that have been enforced this moral issue can be resolved in the foreseeable future.

By way of conclusion, I once again reaffirm my position that the flourishing international tourist industry has had a positive impact on modern life because of its influence on human knowledge and the prosperity of host nations.
