THANKSGIVING

It seems to be rare looking back on ourselves. Because of that, We are rarely to recognise that we are receiving a lot of graces from God. So, it maybe leads us to feel sad, lonely, jealous. We forgot that what we are having are significant times than we deserve. In fact, we have nothing to deserve from God. What we have are from His love and His grace only. God gives us live and dignity as a human being. He always takes care us as His beloved sons. As a saint said "God love you as you were the only one human being in the world". Each person has received a private grace from God. Nobody has a same with others. It witnesses that the diversity of God's graces have appeared on people.

What we should do is to look back on ourselves to realise that we are being happy with what we are having and give thanks to God every moments. In fact, sometime there are situations make us painful and loss the hope in our lives. We believe that God has not given us the suffering but God is always besides us with our sufferings. We are not only one to face with suffering but with God as saint Paul in the second Corinthians indicates that "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Cr 12:9)

The number of people who want to learn English have been growing up rapidly in the recent decades. While some people think it is perfect way to learn English is study abroad, others suppose that it is more appropriate to study English domestically. Based on these observations, this essay will compare and contrast study English abroad and study English domestically focusing on two differences and one similarity. The two differences are the English speaking environment and the finance factor while the similarity is the personal determination.

To start with, Study English abroad is unlike study English with respect to the English speaking environment. In the countries which speak English, excepting study English at schools, learners have more chances to communicate with residents by using English, listen to radio and watch Television in English. In other words, they are covered by English speaking environment, therefore they are more likely to improve their English skill. For example, a Vietnamese student who is studying in Australia needs to use English when he shops, works a part time job and invites his friend for hanging out. Differently, Study English domestically has less opportunities to use English. Learner only use English at English class or English clubs. Besides, they use their native language to talk each others. The repetition of learning English is low can be difficult in increasing range of words and especially speaking skill. the brains of learners do not focus on one language but being divided into two part for each language. As a result, their language abilities are more struggle to become naturally. For instance, in Vietnam many student can not speak English well even they have spent twelve year for studying English. To summarize, study English abroad and domestically have difference in term of the English speaking environment.

Secondly, study English abroad differ from study English domestically with regard to finance factor. In fact, study English abroad requires a huge amount of money which will pay for tuition in English course. Moreover, learners have to pay for other expenditure such as accommodation, transportation and food. For example, a student who studies in Australia needs to pay approximately six thousand Australian dollars for an English course length six months. Unlike study English abroad, [Describe B] study English domestically requires a less expensive amount of money for English course than study abroad. In addition, they can save money by living with their families or using less money for tickets in local areas. For example, Vietnamese students live in Hochiminh city need to pay approximately three hundred Dongs - equal twenty Australian dollars for bus travelling per month, while students in Melbourne pay one hundred and forty AUD per month. In summary, a distinction is seen between study English abroad and domestically with respect to financial factor.

The world has been becoming closer than ever due to the developing of transportation and communication technologies like planes and Internet. As a consequence, culture of each country has been affected by them. The problem is how to protect oneself culture as well as absorb other cultures to adapt with international environment. This essay will examine how to keep private cultural values and also learn from other cultural values.

Firstly, it is necessary to distinguish what are the good or bad values of each culture. If these are good values, they should be absorbed. If these are not ones, they should get rid of. However, who determine for this problem. It should belong to each person as well as government. Each person need to learn cultural knowledge from books and reality. Government need to search some professional studies about cultural area. For example, Vietnamese people need to learn being on time of Western culture and being serious in works of Japanese. However, they should scare off imperialism of Western countries.

Secondly, each country has private cultural strengths, so they need to promote to other countries. They can spread out through entertainment means such as television, CDs or films. Moreover, they can touch with cultural meetings in different levels from regions to continents. For example, Vietnamese culture can promote some traditional values as respecting elders, or traditional meals such as "Pho" or "Banh Chung" to other countries.

To conclude, it is very important when adapting with other cultures in the globalization age. Each country need to learn from cultural beauties as well as throw unsuitable values away. In addition, each country need to protect and promote private cultural strengths to whole the world to enrich each other. With personal responsibility, each person need to self-study to open knowledge and adaptability to other cultures.

In the flat world today, besides economical factor has changed significantly, education has affected by globalization phenomenon. There are more opportunities for resident students to study abroad instead of domestic areas. This essay will examine the arguments for and against the idea that it is better study abroad than domestic.

There are a lot of arguments in favor of the idea that it is better for study abroad than domestic. Firstly, students can absorb new knowledge through foreign language. In fact, with perfect language ability, students can pull out many good things from reading book and communicating with others in themselves language. Because each culture has private strengths, students could study them to have an intercultural background to promote them working in the variety of cultural workplaces. For example, most students who have graduated from the US are more likely to get good positions at multinational corporations wherever. Secondly, student can touch with new teaching methods from foreign professional professors. To explain, with wide knowledge and plentiful experiences, foreign professors can provide proper teaching methods which resident professors can not. For example, in the Western countries, professors concentrate on team works or self researching in class courses which are rarely happening in Asian countries.

On the other hand, there are some counter arguments that studying in domestic is better than abroad. Firstly, local study limits financial risk comparing with study abroad. In fact, it is too expensive to pay tuition fee at foreign universities. When it is more affordable in local universities. For example, a Vietnamese student has to pay over 9,000 dollars tuition fee a year for public four-year colleges, while in Vietnam, it is just more and less 500 dollars. Secondly, students who study in domestic more likely remain good relationships with their families and others. To explain, parents are easier to take care their children when distance is not too far between them. Parents and children have more opportunities to face and talk each other. As a result, they build and remain good relationship. It is harder when children study in other countries. It is the same with other relationships. For example, on the Tet holiday of Vietnam, most students in big cities come back their hometowns to joy with their families and relatives. While it is too difficult with a student who is studying in the US.

In conclusion, there are some different arguments with the idea that it is better for studying abroad than domestic. While absorbing new knowledge and new teaching methods are pros for study abroad, financial risk and remaining relationship are cons. However, the best solution depends on each situation and choice of each person.

Internet is an equipment which help people connecting with each other in the nearly decades. However, it may lead to addiction with people who cannot control themselves. This essay will explore some causes and effects of internet addiction.

One of the primary causes of internet addiction is that children lack instructions from people who have responsibilities such as parents or teachers.
To illustrate, children have not geting majority to distinguish what are either useful or not to control themselves, Therefore, they are more likely to be addicted on the internet. Parents and teachers sometimes pay attentions to their works, do not spend their time to take care their children. In some case, with divorce family, just only single parent can not support (adequate appropriate / proper) education. For example, a lot of pupils in HCMC are addicted by playing game online which is result from their parents are a lack of taking care their children appropriately.

Other cause of internet addiction is exploding of social networking such as Twister or Facebook. In fact, today youth are really attracted by new communication equipments absolutely conveniently. They help all people to connect immediately with what are happening. However, people especially youth may be addicted by staying online status too much time. It may lead them to addict Internet. For example, some students spend for a lot of time in day to upload pictures and comments on their Facebook profiles and also to wait some other's respond. They are more likely to be addicted by Facebook.

Both causes may lead to some consequences. One of some consequences of Internet addiction is health problem. In fact, people spend too much time for online may lead to unfair life style. They lack time for rest or sleeping, a lack of doing exercise. Therefore, they have become slightly weaker day by day. For example, the information from Tuoitre.online said that a young boy in HCMC died by spending over two days for game online without feeding.

Another consequence is breaking to relationship with other people. To explain, people concentrate too much time for online which may lead to lack communication skills such as persuading skill, presentation skill. Therefore, they may lost some relationships with others. For example, in Japan there are a lot of young people hikikomori who are affected by using Internet without limiting.

In conclusion, it can be seen that there are lots of causes of Internet addiction such as a lack of taking care from adults on their children and exploding new online programs. Some these causes may lead to consequences like health problems or destroying relationship. Therefore, each person needs to self-prepare to protect ourselves in front of developing of online programs
