Writing Feedback / Should juries get access to criminals' past covictions? [3]

Recently there has been no shortage of discussion about whether offenders' previous convictions should be compatibly considered along with current charges by juries in trials, especially in Australia and Britain whose law systems disprove the earlier misconducts. In my perspective, this change has both advantages and disadvantages, as will now be presented

To begin with, as for benefits, necessity of objectively justified consideration is on the top of juries' agenda in any trials. For instance, greater access to offenders' criminal records provides jurors with variable evidence so as to be more accurate prior to giving judgment. Added in more, a thorough analysis on defendants' past records enables juries to come up with proper decision. Specifically, it is generally accepted that personality or characteristics involve in criminals' deep-rooted sense of committing crimes. Therefore, further preventing shall be taken by carefully abstracting the personal background. Next, biased thinking or prejudice against defendants in spite of unveiling personal convictions would result in an unfair trial.

On the contrary, the change of this practice also has many defects. First, devastation and unsatisfaction from the victims can be caused owing to only relying on the defendants' previous convictions to measure levels of punishment instead of present offence which might be intolerable. Secondly, misjudging can also be sparked due to the whole catalogue of relevant long-ago convictions. In particular, supposing the victims mistakenly framed on you for murdering, and you have illegal act previously, it is obvious that you would be concurred as an offenders.

In brief, getting access to information of criminals' past records of juries has benefits and drawbacks for both defendants and juries themselves who are likely to have a bad press for being unfair.

Please help me with my ideas organizing. thanks in advance

Writing Feedback / Should developed nations help undeveloped ones in the aspects of health, education and trading [6]

Nowhere in the history has the issue been more prominent than the division of developed and undeveloped countries leading to incompatible patterns in public infrastructures' enhancement. Therefore, there are opinions recommending other rich countries to show interest in supporting those poorer nations in health, educational and trading aspects. In my opinion, I completely agree with the given statement.

Primarily, undeveloped countries, which mostly rely on agricultural productivity or mineral resources and monetary deficit, are deeply buried in debt. Hence, by greatly consuming of raw materials, industrialized nations can both facilitate financial aid to help less fortunate countries and develop national economic rises. Another special consideration in this case is that reducing the exporting taxation also enables the local people to sell goods globally so as to increase their annual profits and fulfill expenses of products' quality enhancement.

On the other hand, medication and education should also be concentrated which are main tools fostering and shaping the new generations' living. For instance, as for medical aspect, it is undeniable that most less developed countries are primary culprits for wide-ranging contagiousness of deadly diseases leading to global impact. Obviously, this tendency might keep rising unless international investments are provided such as health professionals or modern medical infrastructures. Next, gradual education degradation in undeveloped countries must be prevented by building schools and new studying module which should be different form the former setting. Since it is the unstructured educational system brings down the average GDP levels as well as sharp decline in economic growth, changing teaching methods are also possible option for rich nations to help the poor countries.

The aforementioned perspectives show that international support from developed countries not only contributes to less developed nations' development in the aspects of medication, education and commerce but also balances globally general development.

Writing Feedback / Proper measures must be taken to stop obesity and encourage people to physical activity [2]

There is a general consensus nowadays that the increasing in average weight of people is in greatly reverse ratio with the levels of health and fitness. This essay shall look into some possible causes and give appropriate solutions to address the issue

Gaining weight in people can be sparked for many reasons. First and foremost, the excessive consumption of calories is the principle factor that should be considered. Specifically, due to restricted working hours and lack of public fitness facilities, people nowadays are leading a sedentary lifestyle with only work and relaxation; as a result, the calories obtained in diets can hardly be digested leading to the agglomeration of abundant nutrients in their bodies. Furthermore, as the junk food industries have been remarkably widening sphere of influences, most people are greatly attracted by the instant convenience and affordable expense. Secondly, the technical advent can act as a catastrophe sweeping people's requirement of physical exercise due to self-reliance on hi-techs' advantages.

Nevertheless, there are possible solutions so as to tackle the arising problem. To begin with, the government should impose higher taxes on fast food companies to reduce the rate of consumption as economic benefits, obviously, are the top priorities for most people. Secondly, the authorities should also provide free-accessing fitness facilities such as parks or sidewalk and wide-ranging healthcare systems instead of funding so many unessential shopping infrastructures in order to maintain healthy lifestyles. In addition, children have to be well-informed as well as well-educated about positive eating and living habits at both home and school to scale back their over dependence on automated gaming programs and those creamy sodas.

In brief, overweight in people and decline in physical efforts have been global issues resulting in bad effects on people's mental and physical heath. Thus, proper measures must be taken.

Writing Feedback / Technology has both benefits and side effects on people's way of interacting. [3]

Effects of technology on human's interaction

It is generally accepted that since the technology has been rapidly developed, so have the ways of interaction among individuals which raise thorny questions about this constantly changing trend's side effects. In my opinion, technical advances are both beneficial and negative for people's social relationships.

It goes without saying that significant advances in technical aspects have brought so many advantages as perfect communication tools. To begin with, we may mention an indisputable fact that the advanced technology enables people to instantly communicate regardless of obvious obstacles such as geographical matters or fluctuation in time zones. Specifically, by getting access to the networking sites, users can easily contact their long-time friends by tracing information through Facebook or networking services anywhere in spite of being geographically separated. In addition, nothing could be more obvious than the evidence that in the past social communication is remarkably limited by the undeveloped via mails transferring systems while nowadays communicating is highly modernized. Next, virtually social communities are also widely promoted for individuals' multicultural integration leading to larger ranges of people's social interaction.

On the contrary, technology also bears numerous defects for people's social lives and interacting. First, the principle one is the Internet addictions originating from the abuse of using the social network. Take family relationships as an example, the network partly contributes to deep-rooted sense of enjoying virtual world rather than real life leading to negative thinking and over reliance which result in corruption of family happiness such as divorce. Secondly, another special consideration in this case is that the abundant amounts of so-called online friends when joining virtual organizations may also make people feel empty and negative since these are unreal.

In conclusion, technology has both benefits and side effects on people's way of interacting. Thus, this should be kept at stable rate of usability.

Writing Feedback / Nature and nurture on human's intelligence - innate inheritance and personal experiences influence [2]

Nowhere in the history has the issue been more prominently visible than the contradiction between the influence of innate inheritance and personal experiences on men's intelligence. In my opinion, neither of these two factors alone is enough for individuals' development.

To begin with, it is undoubtedly obvious that the intervention of environmental factors majorly affects people's development of intelligence. For instance, we may mention an indisputable fact that appropriate working and studying environments are always dominant factors for boosting learners' studying efficiency. Secondly, nurture plays a vitally important role as leveraging pedals for reaching self-domestication of human full potential of intelligence. Specifically, self-motivating according to different situations enables people to see the purpose of doing something regardless of preceding negative thoughts about it.

It is perhaps commonly believed that environmental factors are important for one' development of intelligence, but another inescapable fact is being left out of consideration is genetic relations. Primarily, level of intelligence is mostly determined by depending on genetic inheritance. In particular, standardized intelligence tests such as IQ tests examining people's intellectual capacity in real life training so obviously, innate qualities originating from parental inheritance can serve as advantageous factors rather than trained experiences. Furthermore, our genes greatly categorize our level of intelligence, abilities to process information and are the basis to develop and enhance in the future. Nevertheless, not only wits and innate abilities are enough for people's thorough development of intelligence but also environmental influences and acquired experiences.

In conclusion, in my personal view, both genetics and environments contribute significantly to development of our intelligence since not always having innate intelligence alone means that you can success anytime.

Writing Feedback / Having more than one job. Possible causes and suggestions for future working. [3]

Nowadays, due to advances in technological aspects , original forms of many occupations have been significantly changed which lead to the new conception of people about having only one stable job. This essay shall examine possible causes of these changes and my suggestions on people's preparation for future working.

These sudden changes can be sparked by many factors. Firstly, due to the demand of having more exciting working environments, workers today are no longer expecting to spend their working lives in the same facilities or for one boring job. As a result, they have greater objectives about higher incomes or better workplaces, and they use a variety of jobs and work for several companies in order to achieve what they want. Secondly, thanks to the development of technology, many occupations have become less heavier so workers can have more free time. In particular, automatic production lines can be replaced instead of having hundreds of workers operating in factories today. Besides, structures of jobs today have become more variable that have blurred away the border between day and night. To specify, people have multiple choices of occupations to make a living anywhere and anytime, these new options make people become workaholics.

There are some suggestions for people to prepare for work in the future. First of all, setting a precise goal and choosing a goal-oriented career are two important factors that should be considered. Secondly, selecting appropriate working environment is also important to prevent workers from all possible contingencies such as stress or mental breakdowns and internal contradictions. Moreover, balancing the time of working and entertainment is vital to keep your working timetables become more realistic in long-term periods.

In conclusion, having more than one job to fit the changing conditions of the world of work is one viable option for most workers nowadays. However, a balanced timetable between working and relaxing is mostly required.

Writing Feedback / IELTS Task 2: Internet excellence for communicating people and finding information [7]

I have some small suggestions:
it can rid the barrier of accurate information. => It can blur away the border of accurate information.
the last sentence of the conclusion sounds a bit confusing to me.
It can help people tocut the barrier or perhaps could bring some harm as it not use appropriately.
=> It enables people to enclose the gap between distances and information's sphere of transferring or perhaps can bring side effects if it is over used inappropriately.

Hope it would somehow help!

Writing Feedback / Financial penalties in traffic. Should fines be mainly applied rather than some other policies? [6]

Recently there has been no shortage of heated discussion about adopting monetary punishments in solving traffic accidents or other solutions to tackle this problem. In my opinion, I strongly believe that financial punishment is the most effective way rather than other solutions.

First of all, it is undoubtedly natural that economic effects are the most worth-concerning issue for most people when trafficking; therefore, financial fining can be an effective tool to reduce the percentage of illegal driving. Added in more, monetary obligation required for illegal drivers is usually higher than theirs economic capabilities; as a result, people can be much more careful when driving. Secondly, in some specific cases such as being unable to pay off the cash, those people are forced to complete community restitution. Apparently, instead of imprisoning or capturing drivers' licenses or vehicles, financial penalties can significantly reduce the rates of traffic infractions.

Nevertheless, this policy also has some negative drawbacks. In particular, if over using this policy in large-scale, this might lead to the greatly contempt of traffic laws of the minority of the so-called high social standings or rich people since cash is not a matter for them. Furthermore, negative thinking may also be formed in the citizens' awareness about this policy can be the tool to enlarge the budgets of traffic polices and their authorities. However, these advantages cannot outweigh its effectiveness and efficiency.

In conclusion, in my personal view, monetary penalties are the most possible solution to reduce the rate of traffic infraction as long as the authorities do not apply it widely for civil individuals' economic profits.

Writing Feedback / Are examinations good selectors off the classrooms? [3]

Nowadays there has been a dominantly growing tendency of considering school examinations as justified selectors for students' educational background as a part for pursuing their studies in the recent society. In my opinion, it is undoubtedly obvious that testing assessments are beneficial.

To begin with, it goes without saying that tests and exams are one important and helpful feature of educational system that should be considered. For instance, testing and examinations enable teachers to easily assess and carefully supervise students' learning efficiency in order to provide immediate mentors and prevent learners from enduring failures during their studies. Another special consideration in this case is that exams promote civil competition among individuals. To specify, it can be clearly seen that good marks and high study results are dominant factors and tools of intelligence measurement; as a result, rapidly self-developing of students can reach its height in such competitive environments. In addition, assessments can be perfect means for teachers to evaluate their teaching methods so as to give new strategies and increase the effectiveness in lessons.

In contrast, examinations also have a number of drawbacks. First of all, exams may be usually based on theoretical materials gained in classes leading to misjudging of students' abilities. In particular, focusing on learning by heart without analyzing carefully has now been a major issue in students. In fact, learners can usually achieve high scores in classes thanks to their so-called intensively short-term memorizing what are required in tests regardless of initial aim to gain knowledge for real life training. As a result, this can be over estimated resulting in tremendous level of negative self-confidence. However, this cannot be compared to examinations' advantages.

In conclusion, examinations are still a possible option for educators to carefully assess students at every level. Nevertheless, not always examinations are good selectors for abilities of applying knowledge in real life.
