Is there anyone will cry when i die? who will cry my parents, brothers and sister, my family , my friend , millions of people , or no one will cry ? I alway ask this question who will cry when i die ? Will anyone will remmber me when i die by years, will the next generations remmber me , or they will forget me the next day i die? Will i make something really help people in their lives. or i will make people's life worth. But i found that i am not asking questions that have no answer now. i found that i can know the answer in the few years that i will live on the earth. I will know the answer cause i will make the answer. what i will make in the next few years will make the answer. i thought again and again what i can do in my life . What make me happy? I became happy when i saw an ted x talk for one did something creative and innovative in his life when. I became happy when i set with someone enlightened and we exchange ideas as the quote said if i have an apple and u have an apple each one will have an apple. But if i have an idea and u have an idea each one will have two ideas. I became happy when i saw an interesting soccer match specially when my favorite team. I became happy when i read a book that touched something inside me.i became happy when i play a soccer match with my friends. I became happy when eat i my favorite food. I became happy when i watch an interesting movie. But i became more happier when i help someone to do something he can not do without a help. When i make a roof for someone's poor or give him a blanket to worm himself in the cold winter. or connect a clean water to his home

Last summer i went to the workshop where people fix their motor engines for a member of my big family called Nabeh who is a mechanical engineering . Nabeh was encouraging me to enter engineer . He knew i was very good in physics and mathematics and he know i am curious and physics filled that but he did not want me to physicist . Because the lake of jobs in physics field. He told me engineering is a flexible major and i can work anything i want whether in research field, in an company ,or even start up my own company . he took me the workshop and we deal that i will work with him for ten days u till the school start.i went cause i wanted to know more about engineering and do things with my hands . He told someone called Ali to learn me what every i want. Although Ali is uneducated,he knew how everything works and the physical and mathematical concepts behind it. He told me to chose a machine. I choosed a machine by which i can know whether the parts were broken. i was so slow in the beginning but i used to use the machine and i got faster and faster. i loved the work although i was not paid , but i did not care . All what i want is to do something new and excited . I went everyday for the next 10 days with a big smile on my face and an excited spirit . and after this exciting experience. i was sure that engineering will be my major. that a mixture of physics, mathematics , and dirty hands .

I like physics very much. i think physics is a part of my personality . I am kinda curious i want to know how and why everything happen.physics fills my curiosity. and I love math too. Math respect my mind .my proficiency in math help me in physics .I love to have a dirty hand. i love fixing things. I love trying to do new things. I love to make electric circuit and l generators. I want a flexible major u a company by which i can work what i want. whether doing research , working in an company or even starting up my own company no difference. I searched for a major has all these condition and found that engineering is accessible to me.The workshop of one of my family members where people fix their motors engine . I wanted to know more about engineering and i think that helped me every much. I stand on the front of huge manual machines. and put the broken part inside it and started to fix it and sometime i make a new part if the old one can not be fixed. Every thing i touched there was made by an physics and calculus rules and I loved the idea to know how and why everything i use in the machine works. I believe " write something that worth reading or do something worth be written " quote. I wanted to do something spark in the human history. something worth be written and engineering give me the access to do so .

When i set on the office and read a book , i feel that i am in another place. i enter in my mind and image what i want. I can imagine the place which the author talk about . In books i can meet anyone even if he died.I met the philosopher dr.mostafa mahmoud in eight of his books. I always hoped to meet him , but he died five years ago. I meet steve jobs too and he told me what he did in his life ,how he started Apple , and how he left it and returned to it again and made the great success . I like reading biographies and personal stories to know who is that person what he did to sucees or what he mistake in to fail . When i turn to the last page. I feel that i am going to leave a great friend especially if the book is big and i stayed a long time reading it . Books are more valuable than tvs . One can set on the front of tv for hours without learning anything new, and he turn off his imagination and brain . one use only eyes and ears for watching tv, but for reading a book one need to use all his senses including his imagination sense.

Columbia is unique university where great education,beautiful campus , and diversity all meet .good education can make one's life better,but excellent education can make people's life around this person better as well. Columbia has a wonderful grassy campus in Manhattan. At Columbia all cultures mixed together to give a unique culture called Columbia's culture.the university emphasize active citizenship and is well-known of its internationalism and study abroad programs.It is also known for its liberal arts education a right brain education by which i can be unique in this world . taking creative writing class in the morning and then economics class in the afternoon regardless my major is a very exciting idea . in the On the other hand Columbia in heart of the world in a global power city called New York city which exerts a significant impact upon commerce, finance,media,art,fashion,research,technology,education,and entertainment is described as the culture capital of the world . i hope that i can enter Columbia and join Columbia center for integrated science and engineering where applied physics, chemical engineering , and electrical engineering all in one place that what i dreamed by .. I always hope to take steps of two people who i admire Edwin Armstrong and Franklin D.Roosevelt . Both of them have achievements that make a great difference in humankind and both were in Columbia. Students who graduate from Columbia enter the real world focused, confident, and ready to face challenges,and one day, I want to be one of these graduates.

Once upon a time , revolution happen in my country Egypt. A revolution that was yelling by bread freedom and social justice. It did not happen in ancient Egypt ,but in 21st century.May be bread freedom and social justice an ordinary rights in many countries but they were not ordinary in Egypt on 25th of January 2011 the collective mind of the encryption want to change the statues. they want to change their reality. They want hope cause there is no life without hope. As the Arabic quote said " if people one day want to live , fate have to answer." the revolution change Egypt completely. It change souls,minds,and manners of people . everyone feel that the country became his own . Everyone feel that he can effect on country's future after there was no future for the country.
