Writing Feedback / GRIT : A significant predictor of success [3]

IQ is the one thing we know how to measure best in education. But, several more years of Angela Luck Duckworth's teaching experience, a much better understanding of students and learning from a motivational is more needed in education. Research in West Point Military Academy, the National Spelling Bee competition, teachers activities, and salespeople jobs resulted that grit was a significant predictor of success, not social intelligence, good looks, physical health, and IQ. Grit is enthusiasm, passion, diligence, and persistence for very long-term aims. Grit is having endurance and durability. Grit is sticking with our forthcoming look-out, day in, day out, not just for the week and the month, but for years, and working really loud to make that future a circumstances. It is not a sprint, but is a marathon. Wee need more than growth mindset for building grit. We require to take our best thoughts, our strongest sixth senses and presentiments, and assess whether we've been successful.

Writing Feedback / Do a weekday vegetarian for a better life (TED Summary) [2]

Our behavior, eating meat, has caused many problems. Eating hamburger routinely a day can escalate our risk of dying by a third. More than 10 billion animals is slaughtered by our each year for meat; try imagine if they are our pets, such as our lovely dogs and cats. Meat, unbelievably, release more emissions than all of conveyance mode: planes, boats, trains, buses, cars, all of it. And production of beef need 100 times water that most vegetables do. The red and processed meats are the vast culprits in issues of environmental damage and health. Graham Hill, the founder of TreeHugger and LifeEdited, invites us to do a weekday vegetarian to reduce these problems. We only do not eat meat on weekdays, Monday through Friday, then on weekend, it is your choice. In any case, cutting five days a week can reduce two-thirds of your meat intake. If this is done, we are confident that we are lessening waste, we feel more preferable about animals, we cut back on spending. Best of all, we become healthier and live longer.

Writing Feedback / Years ago, living in a small community was a common thing. Now the world has urbanized. [2]

In the past most people lived in small villages where everyone knew everyone else. Nowadays, most people live in large cities where they only know a few people in their area. What do you think were advantages and disadvantages of living in small community?

Introduction

Recently, the world has urbanized. Most of the world population live in cities. This condition is different than years ago where most of the world population live in rural areas that are usually in the form of small communities. In my perspective, positive effects of live in small community are strong social ties, high reciprocity, and great tolerance that will aid them in achieving social goals together. Meanwhile, the negative effects are high interdependence and limited freedom of expressions which can restrict progress and success of each member of the community.

Conclusion

In conclusion, live in small community provides merit which would redound to reach common aims, such as stronger bond, higher exchange and greater toleration rather than live in big society. However, it presents demerit which could obstruct attainment them caused by high dependence among members and finite liberty. I would suggest that people who live in small community could enhance social activities that are beneficial and cut actions that are hinder of achievement.
