Writing Feedback / The chart presents a research resulted by a Canadian providing the data about the sleep patterns [4]

The chart below shows the sleep patterns of people in five different occupations according to a Canadian study.

The chart presents a research resulted by a Canadian providing the data about the sleep patterns of people in five different professions. Overall, both students and business executives have normal on their sleep schedule, while truck drivers, full-time mothers and doctors sleep in interrupted hours.

As the provided data, it can be seen that students and businesses executives have sleep time continuously from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., but business executives have to get up two hours earlier than students. It means that they only spend their time only 6 hours for bedtime which is one hour more than the doctor's sleep schedule.

On the other hand, truck drivers have discontinuous sleep schedule and spend 6 hours for sleeping about 3 hours in each morning and afternoon. In the following, there are full-time mothers having 8-hours sleeping time, with 2 hours in the afternoon for taking a nap due to getting up in the early morning, 3 a.m. Another case, doctors are the busiest jobs in this data because they only have 5 hours for sleeping in the early morning 1 a.m., but they have to wake up and do their duties again at 3 a.m.

Writing Feedback / Early age is the best time to learn many things, including a new language. [2]

Some experts believe that it is better for children to begin learning a foreign language at primary school rather than secondary school. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

Early age is the best time to learn many things moreover a new language. Some people are convinced that children have to learn a different language at the earliest grade, while the others think that children should study it when they are in the secondary school. Personally, I believe that the advantages are far more than the disadvantages for young people who study a foreign language when they are still in the first level in the school.

Leaning a new language in the early age at primary school has some possible drawbacks. Firstly, studying additional subject, it could overburden the children because they have to focus as well as on other subjects such as math, science, and their own original language. They have to divide their time to spend a portion for studying a new language that require extra focus also like learning English which the pronunciation is different than the written. Secondly, the children would get stress because they already have been some subjects in the school and after that they have additional time for learning new subject again.

On the other hand, it is approved generally that young people are faster studying about new subject than older people. They can easily imitate the pronunciation of that new language because their brain has not been much thought yet. In addition, international languages today such as English or Mandarin are really required whether in the workplace or business. Thus, if they already have mastered foreign language in the early age, they would not be able to get much burden in the next education level in which study more subjects.

In conclusion, I personally believe that studying a new language in early age give more benefit for children even they have to divide the time to learn others subjects.

Writing Feedback / Teaching and learning process at home has existed for centuries. Child's Development & homeschooling [2]

Some people believe that teaching children at home is best for a child's development while others think that it is important for children to go to school.

Discuss the advantages of both methods and give your own opinion.

Teaching and learning process at home has existed for centuries. Some wealthy families with highly educated decide to teach their children at home or hire teachers while the other parents prefer to send their children studying at school. Even though there is different opinion about this view, I believe that both the choices have their own benefits.

Giving education to children at home would be more effective if parents prepare well about the method utilized or hire the teachers from reputable homeschooling institution. Children taught at home with acceptable method would be more focus on the subjects so that they are able to understand them well. In addition, they also can develop their passion in particular subject that they choose to support their future career.

The improvement of social skill is one of the most advantages of children studying at school. Children will develop social skills when they are at school by interacting with their teachers and peers. In the school, they will meet their friends from various backgrounds whether from rich or poor family and characters so that they are able to learn how to solve if they meet the problems and knowing each other. Furthermore, school environment is full of competition in order to gain popularity which will impact on students being more competent and strong to face future life in the society.

In conclusion, teaching the children whether at home or in the school has benefits for their future life, but in fact the advantages studying in the school outweigh studying at home.

Writing Feedback / Youngsters are lack of free time for their leisure activities in various countries in the world [3]

In some countries young people have little leisure time and are under a lot of pressure to work hard in their studies. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest?

Over decades, youngsters are lack of free time for their leisure activities in some countries in the world. Moreover, in the school, they have a lot of tasks or assignment from their teacher. Therefore, it is really important to know what the causes are and how to cope the notion.

Most of parents send their children to the reputable school and expect their children to acquire acceptable education quality. They sometimes ask to the children to have additional studying in the course especially at difficult subject such as math and science. As a consequent, they spend their time for studying mostly and when weekend come they just want to take rest at home preparing for school in the following day without thinking again to take a holiday for refreshing. In addition, the government in some countries has increased the extent of study program in order to improve the educational level of young generation. Although, it would make them more productive, students have to work extremely hard so that they suffer from studying too much.

In my opinion, there are some solutions that can solve those problems certainly. Firstly, parents should understand that learning too much is not good for children's health mentally or physically. They also need some break times to enjoy their hobbies or at least going to holiday with their peers. Secondly, education authorities should alter the study program to make it suitable for students. They should make sure whether the program that they have implemented to the schools is beneficial for the students in order to create acceptable quality of students or not.

In conclusion, the clear communication between parents and children about studying schedule are required to make balance between their obligation about school and utilizing their leisure time for doing holiday or hobbies. Then, a support from the government makes perfect to solve the problems.

Hundreds More Species than We Thought Might Be Endangered

The velvet-purple coronet, iridescent hummingbird, is found in parts of Colombia and Ecuador, and is almost extinct. According to satellite data of elevation and forest cover to approach suitable habitats, the teams advise to rethink in classifying the populations. With elevation models and data from Landsat satellites, they can identify at 586 bird species from Asia, the Americas and Madagascar. They refined the potential habitat for each species, and then examined the changes in forest cover in those areas. According to email from the teams about velvet-purple coronet classification, there are contrast notions between the teams, in which Ocampo-Peńuela's team says its approach is accurate, but the IUCN said the teams were difficult to understand the result of IUCN criteria, which the classification was incorrect about many species in their research.
