Causes of Land Degradation in Worldwide and Some Regions

The pie chart gives information about causes of productivity agricultural land of worldwide. The table gives information about the number of land degradation three regions in the world with three reasons. Overall, it can be seen that there are main reasons which causes of agricultural land becomes less productive and the highest total land degradation for 3 regions are Europe.

There is 35 percent of over-grazing which causes of less productivity of agricultural land. The second reasons which cause of worldwide land degradation is deforestation with the percentage is 30 percent. This factor places the second biggest factors after over-grazing. 28 percent is the percentage of over-cultivation, this becomes the third reason of agricultural band becomes less productive after over-grazing and deforestation.

On the other hand, there was biggest percentage of total degradation in Europe during 1990s, which was 23 percent consist of 9.8 percent deforestation, 7.7 percent over-cultivation and 5.5 percent over-grazing. Afterwards, Oceania is the second region which have 13 percent the number of degradation, the highest factor is over-grazing 11.3 percent. The last region is North America Which was percentage of land degradation become the smaller than other region it was 5 percent. (196w)

Having a job is a responsibility which is chosen by people. There are many types job such as a employee, a teacher, advertising, a businessman, a driver and so on. Sometimes, people who want to improve their ability in a company or organization, they are do anything such as more creative than other, never come late, focus and confidence.

Some people argue that, having professionalism is important thing as a worker. Because it will make a company or an organization as a place by people to work become more productive. It is directly make a company have good image rather than other. A quality of work by employee effects the developing of an organization. For example, Film production house has had smart, creative, and responsible employee, it will make their company more famous than other, because they have best quality worker.

On the other hand, there are some organizations say that, an employee must wear smart dress. Appearance is one of factor which shows the professionalism of people, as a representative and characteristic a company. Sometimes, Wearing particular dress is a role model by a company as well as in a bank, a hospital, and other. People who have job like that, just not about skills or quality, but appearance is main factor, because their job related with citizens. For example a doctor should smart and warn their dress, because people do not believe, if they just wear casual dress at the hospital. So wearing dress smartly is important also for a worker.

In conclusion, I think that it is depend on how are people job, if they have job in a company they must follow regulation of their company. But if they are a businessman, they do not must wear office dress. On the other hand, having a good quality of work is important also to make people have best reputation.

The charts below show the results of a survey on happiness ratings for married and unmarried people in the US, and the effect of children on the overall ratings of married couples.

The charts give information on the level of happiness for people who are single and have a husband or wife in the US, and then married couples who do not have children and have children by the age of their children. Overall, it can be seen that the rate happiness people is same which is under 50 percent, but humans which have partner life spouse twice happier than the unmarried. In additional, there is a bit difference between the percentage people who have children and they who do not have children in their lives.

There is 45 percent of happy level by people was married at 18-29 years old. It is bigger than young and old people between age groups 30-49 and over 65 who have a level of happiness as much as 44 percent. While age groups 50-65 years old, there is 40 percent of happy level.

The number of percentage who has a level of happiness under 35 percent is unmarried people. Between 18 and 64 age groups have percentages around 21-22 percent, while over 65 years old just 34 percent. Afterwards, people who have children show a level happiness under 50 percent. Having children who under 18 years old for their life have percentages as much as 41 percent. And then 43 percent is the percentages of people do not have children.

Some people decide to start their own business instead of working for a company or organization. Do the advantages for people working for their own business outweigh the disadvantages?

In the present, having a job is need by people. There are several kinds of job, such as working for a company or becoming independent business. Become employee, working man or having business are choose by people. They have some reasons to choose their job. But I argue that, having own company or start up have advantages for people rather than working for organization.

However, we know that the advantages have work in a company are get fixed salary every month, and have the right time to work. But it is cannot help people to get highest income and just work for their boss. So, it is make people cannot increase their lifestyle because have salary particular. On the other hand, people who have independent business will easy to growth up their life. This is affected by some advantages. The first is less pressure or work under pressure, that situation will make human more creative than others who have high pressure in their company. They have responsibility to make their business develop rapidly. The second is open job opportunity, it will help other people get job and they have better life. The third is flexible time and highest income. This is caused they can manage their time and their self to do another job and directly it makes have additional income. Although, we know that if we become an entrepreneur, it will have high risk and need much time to developing own business.

All in all, i think that there are many advantages, if we have own business or company, because can increase our lifestyle, personal quality and help people to get a job. However, there are competitor and vast capital.

The diagrams show the design for a wave-energy machine and its location

The diagram gives information about the form of a wind turbine and several locations that can be placed. Overall, can be seen that turbine which placed on domestic will produce 100 kilowatts smaller than the resulting of generator is 1,5 megawatts.

The machine consist of Steel Tower, wind sensor, Generator and computer. Steel tower function is a pole holder and place of generator and wind sensor. Wind sensor function is accepts a wind and lit generator. And the last is computer, its function is accepts info from sensor. The process starts when the turbine is reached by wind, as a results, generator will be lit because wind was reached a sensor and computer was sent info from sensor. After that the turbine will be turned on by generator.

On the other hand, there are 3 locations of wind turbine, those are sea, local area, and hill. Based o the figures, we can see that, the turbine has been placed in sea result of landscape not spoiled. Domestic turbine produces 100 kilowatts. It is smaller than other which the generator produces 1,5 megawatts. Besides, Turbine has been placed on the hill have maximum wind strengths.

The graph gives information about number of English-Language teachers and French-Language teachers from 2001 to 2007 in Ontorio by years of graduation. All in all, the percentage of English-Language teachers were a dramatic decrease and French-Language teachers were a slight increase.

In 2001, the number of English-language teachers stood at 75 percent and French-language teachers was 70 percent. Three years later, in 2003 there was a dramatic decrease of English-language teachers to 35 percent and decreased in the percentage of French-Language teachers during 2001 to 2003 at 70 percent to 68 percent.

From 2003 to 2005, English and French language teachers were gradual increase. Based on the graph can be seen that, an increase in English teachers were 40 percent to 45 percent. And then, French teachers were small rise from 68 percent to 70 percent.

Even though, there was grew up during three years later, between 2005 and 2007 the number of English-Language teachers and French-Language teachers were different. English-Language teachers were felt down under 30 percent, while French-Language teachers were slight increase event there was fluctuated (179w).

The media pay too much attention to the lives and relationship of celebrities such as actors, singers or footballers. They should spend more time reporting the lives of ordinary people instead.

To what extend do you agree or disagree?

In the present, technology has developed rapidly, people can find much information in several media, such as television programs, newspaper or the internet. Because of that, people can know local, international or anything news which they want to seen. Some people argue that, the media just should report about the activities of local people in the country. But in my view, I tend to agree about that, because other important to report by the media is activities of celebrities.

People who argue that, the media should report about lives of common people. They have main reason for their opinion. Ordinary people news brings other people to pay attention for local problems such as crime, natural disasters, killing, theft and other problems. For example, the first is, if citizens do not know about crime which occurs in a city, they will not care full when visit a city. It is important to know for safe our life. The second is natural disasters like tsunami, flood, and earthquake, it is important because we will aware of problems other people and can help them to solve their problem, may be give money, food or cloth.

On the other hand, to know the activities, problems or relationship of famous people also important. Because, it makes several people have motivation to follow their favorite actor and artist. For example, if people have favorite singer or player music, they will learn how to sing a song or instruments directly. Besides, for some people, the news becomes entertainments for them, and to know the development of fashion. So, it will not make citizens in a country have old-fashion and more know the global information.

In conclusion, I think that media have to report of celebrities problems or activities by local people and, because it is equally important to increase our knowledge about global or local news which occurs in around or beyond our rich.

The chart below shows information about the problems people have when they go to live in other countries.

The chart compares the problems of citizen when stay in other countries based on different ages. All in all, the most severe issues of moving abroad is experienced by the middle age for all types of difficulty.

The biggest problem about money are experienced by age group 35-54 around 35 percent, then people ages 18-34 with the percentage is under 35 percent. While, the oldest age category finds it as the smallest problem approximately 28 percent. For the healthy problem, 38 percent is the biggest feature that underwent by people ages 35-54 then people over 55 years old, with the percentage is under 38 percent. A bit different the percentage of old people, just around 32 percent is young people have healthy problem. On the other hand, the last problem people are finding school for their children, 19 percent is the percentage of second last age of people. It is the higher percentages if compares with young people and old people. People have 18-34 years-old is the second highest after middle age about 6 percent and then just 2 percent is over 55 years-old.

Many children these have an unhealthy lifestyle. Both schools and parents are responsible for solving this problem. To what extent do you agree with this statement?

Nowadays, information about unhealthy lifestyle which occur in society especially for children can find anywhere as newspaper, magazine, internet and others. These problems are dangerous for them, unhealthy lifestyle on children can destroy their life, like easy to sick and make disease as diarrhea or obesity. These phenomena can disturb their daily activity as play or socialization with their friends. Unhealthy lifestyle on children is must eliminated and responsible for solving this problem are school and parents.

Schools are place for children to get information about good habits. In the school, teacher teach theirs student about unhealthy life style. Then, give them are remind about anything as well as how to a healthy diet, how to a healthy behavior and a healthy environment. For example, Teacher give task and example how to the dangerous of unhealthy life style for life. It will make them sick and cannot do activities. Besides, in school environment, teachers have responsibility to warn about instant food and the danger of that. So, school is the one factor to solving about unhealthy life for children because it is places of them to study and get knowledge.

On the other hand, parents are place to follow the healthy life style, parents must give a good example, good custom, and prevision before go to school. The behavior of parents will affect for children and have positive effect for their life style. Such as accustomed their children to wash their hand before eat, take a bath twice a day, toothbrush every morning and before sleep. In addition, Parents which give prevision for their children will help their healthy lifestyle, they will not eat instant food on their school and keep healthy, because more clean than food or snack which sale in their school. Parents are the first source of unhealthy life style for their children. If they do not have good behavior as habits, it will make their children have unhealthy life style.

In conclusion, both of school and parents are responsible for solving the problem about unhealthy lifestyle. School is place to get information and parents are place to teach good behavior. (354w)
