Writing Feedback / Current development is signed by the advancement in technology. Internet is one of its invention. [2]

The internet is probably the most significant invention of the last 30 years. Without it, our lives would be completely different.

To what extant do you agree or disagree?

Current development is signed mostly by the advancement in technology. Internet is one of its invention during the last three decades. It gives huge influence to the majority of inhabitants' lifestyles. I believe that most of people's lifestyle is under internet's effect.

It cannot be denied that easiness causes most people to become lazier. Then internet comes with it. It accustoms its users to depend on it. Consequently, most of societies are internet maniacs which lead them to be an ignorant people in real life. Keeping relationships on by having chat online, for instance, can cause them to think that they do not have to meet one another anymore.

On the other hand, basically, the advancement of technology ease its users' life. Internet, as one of them, comes to facilitate people either to find informations and/or to keep communications with other relatives or colleagues. Young people mostly interract each other by using social media accounts which means they use internet access regularly. In additional, office workers, academicians, businessmen, housewives or whoever they are, make internet being one of their necessity to do their works. For example, a researcher will spend much time conducting his research unless he has an internet access.

To sum up, I genuinely believe that this kind of cutting-edge technology does effect most of inhabitants' way of life. Simply it eases everyone's needs indeed.

Writing Feedback / These diagrams explain two traditional systems to draw water. [3]

Writing task 1 _ Two methods of collecting water for irrigation purpose

The diagrams explain two traditional systems to draw water. The first method involves human power while cow is involved by the second method. Overall, both methods use pail as its tool.

In the first method, called Rope and Bucket, draws water by using two pulleys. Pulley 1 is put on the left side of the stagnant pit while the other one is above the pulley 1. Then, the rope is fixed to the pail, and is installed to the pulleys'rollers. Moreover, there is an irrigation channel right beside stagnant pit and a down hill next to it.

The process is started by putting the buffalo on the down hill with the rope on his body. So when it goes down through the down hill, the rollers work and a pail of water comes out. The water is directly poured to the irrigation channel because the pail is blocked right after it is up.

On the other hand, the second method, called Swing Basket, involves two workers and used a traditional pail made of bamboo with two ropes are fixed to both its right and left side. Its irrigation channel is beside the reservoir. In compare to the first method, this Swing Basket runs simply by swinging the pail full of water. So the process is started by the workers holds the two ropes in each side, after that they dip the pail to the reservoir and finally it is swung and poured to the irrigation channel.

Writing Feedback / On the video, the most things that Gore emphasize are optimistic and awareness. [3]

Summery TED _ Al Gore - A new thinking on the climate crisis

On the video, the most things that Gore emphasize are optimistic and awareness. We, the inhabitants of the universe, have to use the resources effectively. Let's utilize all that we have, technology, for instance. As what Australian have done. Taking the advantages of television, radio and internet to inform everyone that we are actually in urgent; that our live is on danger. Then, times later, Australian can recover from their drought.

Thus, when everyone, especially young generation, has the sense of the ecology then we can solve the problem. Be an active citizen or the use of CO2 in all countries rockets faster than we think it can. So, we need to move fast and far.

Writing Feedback / Five - second rule revealed (summary) [2]

Overyone surely is familiar with this term. This non-written rule is actually applied by most people where we have to directly pick up our dropped food or plenty of bacteri attack it. All moms over the world seems to teach their children to take the fallen food as soon as possible. However, there still is no scientific explanation about it.

According to food scientist, Paul Dawson, how fast and many the bacteria can come to the food that hit the floor depends on the kinds of the surface which is hit and the food itself. Wet foods, for example, are faster to be clung than a cookie.

Writing Feedback / Bill Gates - how do you stop deadly disease that spread by mosquitos? [3]

Summery TED _ Bill Gates - Mosquitos, malaria and education

Bill Gates' speech focused on two different questions; how do you stop deadly disease that spread by mosquitos? and how do you make a teacher great?

The deadly disease, in this case is malaria had been a phenomenal case over the world. Then people in the past use tools to eraducate it such as bed net, quinine treatment for the patients and kill the mosquitos. As a result, the number of malaria patients went down. Most of infected countries had recovered. However, there are still numerous countries had the disease. What should be done is involving everyone who is expert in their field to make a change.

On the other case, a conducted reasearch proves that those great teachers are not because of their master degree but their past experience. KIP (Knowledge is Power), a school that has great teachers. They points are those teachers are being very active, they perticipate each students and personnel system. KIP teachers have target, measure their skill and criticize their work each other regularly.

The point is gathering people to work together and the solution is on progress.

Writing Feedback / The interesting Al Gore speech on ecosystem [2]

Summery TED _ Al Gore, Averting The Climate Crisis

Al Gore starts his speech by his own true story in some funny features. Continuing his speech, he slowly brings the listeners to the main topic, ecosystem. The fact that he experienced the extremely temperature change only in two days just shocked him. Therefore, these are his resolutions of the problem. Firstly, we are asked to change our way of thinking that actually by minimizing the use of electricity and energy is not a sacrifice anymore because the benefits are back to ourselves. Secondly, Gore suuggests us to use transportation efficiently, simply to reduce the pollution. And the last but not least is, changing the way of life. Let's be greener. We should start it from home such as buying green electricity and increasing hybrid.
