Research indicates that the characteristics we were born with have much more influence on o ur personality and development than experiences we had in our life. In what extent do you agree or disagree?
Personality is a replica of an individual traits i.e., attitude, social endowments, skill etc., which one has acquired over a period of time by encountering various experiences. It is even associated with the natural endowments i.e. Intelligence, strength etc.
Every individual born in this universe has a few characteristics instilled that can be either unique or similar to other individuals. But these are the attributes which help one to acquire additional characteristics over an interim by mingling with people, observing and learning from different sources. A few natural endowments like excellent grasping power, good memory are those which are unique, but in order to retain these characteristics one has to practice by learning and educating continuously. For example "Michel Phelps " the world's fastest swimmer who has accorded with laurels for achieving 16 Olympic medals , is an inborn talent of having an enormous amount of energy that helps him to sustain without being exhausted even after swimming continuously for an ample number of laps . This made him the best swimmer of the world. But in order to attain such esteem, one has to acquire dedication, confidence, perseverance, guidance and motivation which can be possible only by successfully crossing the hurdles which fetches the experiences, which "Michel Phelps" has inherited in his voyage to become the best athlete.
The personality of a person is not just by the characteristics one was born rather it is by how well an individual pursue the things there by simultaneously improving the skills , character etc and more over it can be an influence of the most famous people on ones life .
