Writing Feedback / Writing Task 1 - How to see the thoughts you don't know you are having - Caroline Williams [2]

How to see the thoughts you don't know you are having - Caroline Williams

Every second, large of quantities idea emerge on our mind. Those are in an unconscious area in which almost all people are not aware of what their thinking. In actual fact, a few experiments have been developing to touch our hidden area. Harvard University's Scholars carried out the research by using quick response test to exposing unconscious behaviour regarding origin, sexuality and gender. Unfortunately, it is strenuous to catch. While, another researcher, Russell Hurlburt from University of Nevada Las Vegas, provides a different approach. He commanded volunteers to wear an earpiece which will randomly beep for six times a day, then ask them to note their mind. After a half of decade, he has concluded that minority of people have an idea what they are thinking.

Donald Trump is right, America's airports are awful

During the first of presidential debate of the USA, Donald Trump's made a statement that "our airports are like from a third-world country". However, it is no hyperbole, it is extremely right. Based on Skytrax annual report, five airports in developing countries are better than the top American airport. Even, the top 50 airports, only 4 airports in the United States while developing countries supply 15. For example: New York JFK and Los Angeles LAX are in 59th and 91st respectively.

However, such phenomenon is caused by chronic underinvestment in public infrastructure across the country. The American airport has a tendency to focus on the domestic market, where there is not number of tough competitions and pressure to improve. Meanwhile, as the top airport in the world, Singapore Changi Airport, always construct new infrastructures and utilize advance technology to support them as the most convenience airport to transit.

Writing Feedback / TED Summary - Ken Robinson says schools kill creative [3]

TED - Ken Robinson says schools kill creative

Nowadays, children are not prepared to be wrong. They always obay with the teacher's instructions, willingness and desires. However, If children are not prepared to be wrong, they will never come up with anything original. Picasso said that all children are born as artists, but in this current condition, by the time they get to be adults, most children have lost that creativity thinking. the issue which should be addressed is how to remain an artist as we grow up.

Ken Robinson explains that there are two kinds of intelligence are:

Firstly, it is drivers. We think about the world in all the ways that we experience it. We think visually, we think in sound, we think kinesthetic-ally. We think in abstract terms, we think in movement.

Secondly, intelligence is dynamic. If you look at the interactions of a human brain, intelligence is wonderfully interactive. The brain is not divided into compartments. In fact, creativity which he defines as the process of having original ideas that have value. More often than not comes about through the interaction of different disciplinary ways of seeing things.

Writing Feedback / The free movement, is it necessary for economy or not? [2]

The free movement of goods across national borders has long been a controversial issue. Some people argue that it is necessary for economic growth, while others claim that it damages local industries. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. You should write at least 250 words.

Some people have a tendency that free trade agreement among countries will threaten local industries. I keenly agree with such opinion that free flow of goods is one the principal of international trade that should be supported due to its merit. These will be obviously explained in the paragraphs below.

On the one hand, I agree that free flow of goods among countries will beat local products. Since local brands cannot rival with exported products which have better standard and more economical price. Therefore, the foreign goods are readily absorbed in the local market. For example foreign country has been producing LED TV with advanced technology as well as it is more affordable than home country products. When the products are exported to the domestic market, people tend to choose those products rather than domestic brands due to its quality and cost.

Apart from previous explanations, I more like to agree that free trade agreement is necessary for those who are willing and eager to have the more competitive market. Having aggressive market competition is compulsory in order industries perform more competitive. It aims to provide an array of alternative and affordable products for the customers, for instance, it helps buyers to choose the best products with cheaper quality.

In conclusion, while free trade agreement certainly beat local industries. I extremely believe that free flow of goods has more upsides than its drawbacks. In my opinion, free movement of goods across national borders has long a great idea to create the competitive market.

Its indicators are higher education, labor-force participation, pay, child-care costs, maternity rights, business-school applications and representation in senior jobs. Unsurprisingly, the Scandinavia countries such as Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland-lie in top overall. In these regions, a woman has chance of equal treatment as men. Finland is the highest share of education compare with a man by 14%. Meanwhile, in Iceland has 44% woman on company boards. Writing Feedback / Is the Internet really dangerous? Inappropriate contents, lack of direct communication [3]

The internet has transformed the way information is shared and consumed, but it has also created problems that did not exist before. What are the most serious problems associated with the internet and what solutions can you suggest?

Majority people believe that the internet has been imposing people to change the way of transferring information. Surprisingly, it carries a large number of negative consequences for the human being. However, the society can take steps to address such drawbacks. These problems and solutions will be obviously explained in paragraphs below.

The internet brings various negative impacts. Firstly, inappropriate contents such pornographic, crime and deception are easily accessed by everyone, including children. Adolescence is susceptible to negative contents as well as they will behave based on provided information on the internet. For example: in 2015, Abraham Limau had conducted research revealed that nearly 75% of rape victims are pornography addictive. Consequently, they did sexual violence to accommodate their desire. Secondly, lack of direct communication. Since society spends more time interacting with each other online. Indeed, they have less face-to-face communication. Therefore, the internet could be obstacle family life.

Apart from previous explanations, several approaches could be the solution to overcome such phenomenon. The first, the government has authority to create a set of restriction to ban the websites contains adult and violence subjects and form strict punishment in order people obey the regulation. The second, schools have crucial roles in educating students to use internet in the appropriate way and utilize the technology only to search new knowledge and data for their future career. The third, family is required to monitor their children' activities during the use of the internet, to prevent them access inappropriate websites.

It could be concluded that the internet has vast problems for society, particularly children. However, these could be diminished by working side by side between family, government, and school.

Writing Feedback / The authority is required to create publicity for familiarizing renewable sources of energy [3]

Government should make more effort to promote alternative sources of energy. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Give reasons for you answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

The majority of people state that the authority is required to create publicity for familiarizing renewable sources of energy. I, therefore, agree with the statement that foster another resources will carry a large number of upsides.

On the one hand. Firstly, the non-renewable energy such as fuels, coal petroleum, and natural gas will disappear someday. It needs thousand of years to be reproduced. In order to meet human's needs, people are compulsory to move to another resource which could be renewable. Secondly, the alternative resources would be more economical because those could be generated themselves. Afterward, these would be more accessible also for those who not have the chance early. In addition, the renewable energy is more friendly environment which helps to diminish pollution and greenhouse.

Furthermore, alternative resources such sunlight, the wind, and rain would meet people's needs who live in remote areas or rural regions since these relatively easy to obtain. Even it needs sophisticated facilities such as solar cell but the benefits outweigh its investment. For example: in 2012, Chinese government built 100 solar power in Chinua region to fulfill society's needs especially electricity. After implementing this idea, Chinua society's life become better and solar power carries a lot of benefits such as job opportunities, better infrastructure, and current electricity.

In conclusion, I completely agree that the publicity of the alternative resources should be executed by the government because it brings positive consequences outweigh its drawbacks. Personally, I am fear that there is no scarcity resources could be utilized due to its limitation.

Writing Feedback / Writing Task 2 - speaking local language helps to understand culture of a country? [3]

Some people think that a person can never understand the culture of a country unless they speak the language. Do you agee with this opinion?

The majority of people regard that to attain valuable insights of others cultures. It is compulsory to speak the same language as they use. I would regard that this idea is true. Even thought, for some aspects, I have an opposite opinion.

On the one hand, the language can reflect people's culture. This is because it is an essential tool to communicate and scholars can analyze people's behavior through how they use the language. So if people speak the language of a country, they attain an array of cultural information. For example, it has been known that nearly all Sundanese people find a difficulty how to make a sound of letter "P" properly. They cannot pronounce distinctly between letter P, F and V. As a result, foreign people realized that they should not force them to pronounce those letters correctly since it is one of their behaviors that hard to be addressed.

On the other hand, people have an opportunity to understand other culture without speaking their language. There are several activities could be carried out to get more comprehensive understanding regarding the culture of a country. The first method is to read book and journal. That provides a lavish number of information of the country regarding their behaviors, characters and how people interact and mingle with their neighborhood. It also supplies recent data since cultural researches have been conducted annually. In addition, traveling abroad will be a beneficial factor to understand a culture because people are able to interact directly with native citizen and adapt with new cultures they believe.

In conclusion, it is clear to me that although learning language helps citizens to understand about other culture. There are alternative methods which more effective to gain a large number of information such as reading the cultural book and watching a movie.
