Writing Feedback / There has been a significant rise in the number of private cars since the past three decades [4]

Car ownership has increased so rapidly over the past thirty years that many cities in the world are now 'one big traffic jam'.
How true do you think this statement is?
What measures can governments take to discourage people from using their cars?

It is a common believe that there has been a significant rise in the number of private car over a three-decade period. Consequently, most citizens are trapped on congestions for hours. I personally believe that while these statements are inevitable, the authorities can introduce some strategies to tackle this problem.

As the prolific number of private cars hampered in the road, people always suffered from traffic jam today. It is different with few years before, when people can travel conviniently. The recent study of Oxford University, which covered 600 participants from large cities in the world, found that two-third of them was accustomed to use their own car go to the office and college. Besides that, they acknowledged that those person spent much more time to reach their destinations due to congestion. All in all, it is reasonable to blame private car for this phenomenon.

On the other hand, government can force to establish strick regulations in order to minimize the number of people travelling by their own car. Firstly, the policy makers can increase taxes of private vehicles. Ultimately, people become reluctant to drive car and prefer public transport instead. Also, the government can introduce free-car area and free-car time. It has been proven success to practice in many cities. In addition, they should improve the condition of public transport to encourage inhabitants use this mean.

In conclusion, while the rise number of private vehicle is responsible for congestion, the government can afford many ways to cure this phenomenon. Moreover, inhabitant have to accept and participate actively.

The maps compares the differences of a school building, West Park Secondary School, from 1950 to 2010. Overall, it can be seen that, the building experienced a significant change a six-decade period.

However, the houses were demolished and replaced by car park and science block thirty years later. There were farmland area and playground behind the school initially. As the school extended its building, sport field was built over the farmland.

1980 to 2010 saw that the school has been improving its facilities continuously. While the area of science block and main building remained the same, car park was extended three folds until behind science block. As a result, playground had to share its area to sport field. However, the area of sport field was less vast than playground eventually.

Writing Feedback / Introducing young people to the work routines - IELTS Writing Task 2 [2]

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.
Present a written argument or case to an educated reader with no specialist knowledge of the following topic.

In many countries children are engaged in some kind of paid work. Some people regard this as completely wrong, while others consider it as valuable work experience, important for learning and taking responsibility.

What are your opinions on this?

You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence. You should write at least 250 words.

There has been a novelty trend with regard to this globalization era that is work experience for children. Most people argue that this is an effective measure to introduce young people with work routines. However, others think it is not the appropriate time due to their physical and psychological development. I personally believe that this practice is acceptable in some extents although it will bring numerous consequences for children.

People who argue that having a job for children is beneficial based on some cited reasons. Firstly, young persons have a chance to sharpen their ability and grasp rudimentary skill in the workshop. Therefore, those prospective employee become more confident and proficient to enroll in the companies. Those people also become responsible towards their life. As children have experienced how to earn money, they can manage their financial matter when they grow up as an adult. Furthermore, they will be an independent person in the future.

On the other hand, most concern that it is potentially dangerous for children to participate in work experience for one main reason. Individuals in this young age have not been mature to deal with work pressure. Richard Edwards and his team from University of Otago, New Zealand, reveals that two of ten children took either part-time or full-time job tend to suffer self disorders, particularly serious headache. As a result, they consider to take early retirement.

In conclusion, while having a job for children offers numerous advantages, it can be harmful for their health. Therefore, parents should pay more attention in this case.

Writing Feedback / IELTS - Writing Task 2 Providing healthy meal at school [2]

To learn effectively, children need to eat a healthy meal at school.
How true is this statement?
Whose responsibility is it to provide food for school children?

As children are priceless asset, parents have to concern in their development. Most people argue that formal institutions should provide healthy food for students in order to support instructional process. While it is acceptable in some extents, I personally believe that it is not the key factor to enhance student's ability. There are many aspects to be considered, included the person who will be responsible in this policy.

There are a lot of factors which are influenced student's cognition. The problem is not only related to food consumption. Katie Scolombe, an expert of Public Health in St Andrews University, confirm that it is imperative to provide breakfast for children. The reason is to maintain their physically before studying, to avoid them from starving and other diseases. Thus, pupils can concentrate totally in class. However, an educationalist of Adelaide University, explain that the primary problem which cause students cannot learn effectively is learning methods. All in all, it is not crucial to solve this problem with providing food in the school.

Nevertheless, there is a debatable issue who will be responsible to provide the meal. Firstly, many parents are busy to earn money recently and they do not have enough time to cook on the morning. Moreover, those career women argue that it is school responsibility since they have paid for their children's education. In contrary, teachers are hard to accept this task. They have been busy to prepare instructional materials and evaluate assignments. Thus, providing meals is not their work.

In conclusion, while providing healthy consumption for students is necessary, it is not acceptable to practise in formal institutions. Therefore, mother should spend a little time to cook meal for their children.

Writing Feedback / Most parents encourage their children to work for a couple of years before apply to the university [3]

Some suggest that young people should take a job for a few years between school and university.
Discuss what the advantages and disadvantages might be for people who do this?

It is becoming increasingly common for people to study at higher education as soon as they graduated from school. Meanwhile, most parents encourage their children to work for a couple of years before apply to the university. I firmly believe that taking a particular job offers considerable experience for children, although this decision often has a few drawback.

Adolescent who resolves to get work before studying at the university tends to suffer from depression. It is because they are still immature to deal with a hard workforce. A team of Montana State University carried out research which involved two thousand juveniles in the United States, those taking a temporary job to prepare further education in the college. It found that one fifth of the volunteers acknowledged that they were difficult to adapt with a stressful atmosphere in the office. As a result, they frequently experienced emotional disorder and headache. All in all, deciding to work in the young age is potentially harmful for children's development.

On the other hand, there are a wide range of benefits if the young take up with a company before enroll to the campus. Firstly, they gain more valuable job experience early. It is imperative to prepare them become a professional labor in the future. When adolescents start building a career, they also become aware to manage their financial matter well. They have to account for their income and daily requirements exactly. In addition, they learn how to become more responsible for their life.

In conclusion, despite the fact that there are drawbacks to work in younger age, I believe that this action provides more valuable experience for children. Therefore, parents must concern in this case carefully.

Writing Feedback / How air circulation causes a waste of energy and heat in a house? Answer based on the diagram. [4]

The diagram below shows how heat is lost and energy wasted in a house because of air getting into and out of the house.
Summarise the information by reporting the main features and make comparisons where appropriate.

The diagram illustrates how air circulation causes a waste of energy and heat in a house. Overall, it is obviously seen that, air escapes the building via several slots in ceilings. Meanwhile the current flows inside the room through various means of household furniture.

Initially, the house is constructed into three main parts: the underside, the living center, and the upper side. In lower part, the artificial ventilation allows the air to enter the crawl space and the laundry room. However, the current is not able to fill a control room between those rooms, as it is an airtight room. Furthermore, the air leaks into the house by passing through both doorway and window in the living room, the electrical outlet in the bathroom, and the kitchen vent.

In contrary, the heat released out of the building throughout the ceilings, particularly the interstice of recessed lights and ventilation. There are also a plumbing stack and chimney laid vertically that become the way for energy to out. Also, the heat can pass away throughout the attic hatch in the upside.

Writing Feedback / Citizens obtain numerous positive outcomes viewing ordinary people reports, not celebrities 'news' [2]

The media pay too much attention to the lives and relationships of celebrities such as actors, singers or footballers. They should spend more time reporting the lives of ordinary people instead.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The power of media to capture the attention of human mind is undeniable. While there has been a lot of coverage about famous artist or athletes in the media, I personally believe that citizens obtain numerous positive outcomes viewing ordinary people reports.

It is absolutely imperative that media should cover the lifestyles of extraordinary people. As their controversial issue becomes interesting for public, this kind of entertainment can afford the popularity of media. Also, it ensures that media's operation stay afloat through an increase in advertisement spot. For instance, there is a large number of celebrities gossip on television over a-24 hour per day. Producers compete to expose the most debatable figures in order to attract attention of viewers. Even, they are not afraid to perpetrate hoax. As a result, spectators do not receive accurate information as their primary needs. In brief, presenting news of popular person is solely due to financial matters.

In contrast, publication of ordinary people offers a numerous advantage for audience. Firstly, they can obtain virtual reality in the world as their desire for, such as citizen journalism. This latest form in reporting news seems to be successful in response to some problems in the society. When the media reports usual person, the program also become divinely inspired. For instance, the story of a teacher who has dedicated his self to educate pupils in solitary region with less salary is really admired. In addition, a series of the poor or disaster victims who struggle to live can develop social bond between communities.

In conclusion, it is evident that the exposure of public figures benefits for media financially and ignore the audience's right to acquire precise information. Therefore, the media should elaborate interesting, factual news to attract attention of people.

Writing Feedback / Most argue that the advance of electronic communication is harmful towards human interpersonal skill [3]

The use of electronic media has a negative effect on personal relationships between people.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The way how people interact each other has been changed over a few decades. Most argue that the advance of electronic communication is harmful towards human interpersonal skill. However, I controversially believe that the use of this modern devices brings numerous positive effects to our lives.

People who argue that the utilization of digital media possess a negative attitude have one main reason. They point out that individuals become more reluctant to socialize in community as well as the widespread of this advent. They prefer to discuss or deliver information throughout the internet, instead of participating in verbal communication. A recent study of Leeds University reveals that it is imperative to allocate a few minutes assembling with family every day, sharing the difficulties faced in the office or even a funny story in the school, in order to build strong relationship. Unfortunately, this behavior does not make a sense these days because when parents and children gather in the same room in the evening or at night, they are busy to play with their own gadgets. Undoubtedly, high-tech has become an invisible barrier between people.

On the other hand, there are strong reasons for arguing that the electronic media is able to connect people effectively. Firstly, people can communicate with relatives easily, even in far distance, via digital features in social media. For instance, students in the foreign country using video call to contact their families. Many people also spend their leisure time to be in contact with old friends or colleagues via facebook, twitter, or other apps. Furthermore, young people are likely to make friends in the internet. All in all, the electronic media sharpen human ability to interact with others.

In conclusion, the application of electronic media can damage social bond because it leads to a decrease in direct communication between people. However, these device provide numerous ways for people to build strong relationship through social networking.

Writing Feedback / Is it true that the technological improvement will devastate the conventional abilities and habits? [NEW]

When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out.
It is pointless to try and keep them alive.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

The advances in technology have become a triumph for human civilization. Most people argue that when a country initiates technological improvement, it will devastate the conventional abilities and habits. Thus, it does not make sense to preserve them. However, I personally believe that some efforts can be established to maintain our former lifestyles.

It is noticeable that modern technology has changed people's daily life in some extents, particularly communications system. Since the wide range of mobile phone and gadget, people are reluctant to interact directly, as they had in few years ago. A recent study of Oxford University found that individuals spend almost two-fourth of their time to interact with sophisticated devices, either contacting distant relatives or colleagues, arguing in social media, or searching information. They adjust to live in virtual world than gather in social life. As the result, people have less interaction with their communities and it will decrease social bound eventually. For instance, gotong royong, a traditional routine in Indonesia when people cooperate to clean their neighborhood once a week regularly, usually in Friday or Sunday morning. Men clean drains along the road while women serve meals. Unfortunately, this activity is hard to find recently because people choose to stay at home and keep in touch with their gadget. All in all, technology has hidden danger for human life.

However, people can make some attempts in aim to retain their exemplary behavior. Firstly, citizens can change the way how they travel. Turning from using private car to ride bicycle and go on foot to college or office provide plenty of opportunities to interact with others. Also, people can spend their leisure time by walking around or get exercise in the park. This activity offer chance to meet acquaintances. Implementing those habits is beneficial, people is not only keep to interact in the society, but also they can keep fit.

To sum up, while the development of technology enable to damage human life, particularly undermine social bound, there are many ways to practice in order to keep ideal, conventional habits. Where possible, individuals can begin to practice those habit by their own in local communities.

Writing Feedback / Summary, National Geographic This Chart Shows How U.S. Carbon Emissions Are Rising-Again [5]

Hi, Halim.
I found that coherence is the most problem in your essay. Thus, sometimes it is hard to follow.
Here is my suggestion :)

Since the United State is the biggest industrial state in the world, it becomes the main contributor of carbon emission on the earth. As the result, this phenomenon not only damaged American people, but also jeopardized all human life.

There are two possible reasons for it. Firstly, the United State requires vast amount of energy to run their companies. While this is important to supply human necessities around the globe, the environment is deteriorated through air pollution. In addition, U.S has been struggling for its financial matters. Thus, it needs much more energy consumption to ensure that the manufacture operates well.

In conclusion, this is a big problem that has not been addressed until now. It is very closed to emissions which are rising significantly due to economic growth recently.
