So, it was a tough decision that China took to set them free into the wild, but it had been unprecedented success. The China still have to make sure this species survival in the conservation nature, are the population safe in the deep forest or just keep after them in the zoo facility.
DNA of pandas brings fact that they were transforming from carnivores to herbivores, but the reason and the exact timing is still unclear. It was called adaptation or animals changing behavior to suit the environment. In pandas, the adaptation happened in their teeth that transformed from canine teeth (identic to carnivores) to flat molar teeth (identic to herbivores) for the modern pandas.
Long time ago, panda used to live in China, Northern Myanmar, and Vietnam. But, researcher have counted there were just 2.500 species left in mountain of China on 1970s and plunged dramatically in 1980s because the lack of bamboo that was naturally die-off.
