Writing Feedback / There are some factors which can help people to gain joyfulness. [3]

Happiness is considered very important in life. How is it difficult to define? What factors are important in achieve happiness?

Writing Task 2

Some people think that happiness is hard to be defined, whereas they relize that it is one of the most essential part in life because it can lead them into a successful life. However, I believe that there are some factors which can help people to gain joyfulness.

With regard to some people who are not easy to describe enjoyment, because they never feel satisfied with their results that have been reached. For example, according to a publication from University of Tokyo Fujita in 2015, 23% of people in Tokyo were feel under pressure and stress because they could not buy a private transportation to get opulent lifestyle. 9% amidsts the violence had tried to suicide because of feel ashame. As a consequence, the figure might increase along with time due to lack of satisfied. Therefore, cheerfulness is very necessary for everybody.

However, they are two main factors that can lead people to cheeriness, which are always feel grateful and always help each other. For instance, based on experienced of Joko Anwar, is a person who has no great liability. He always feel gratitude and never being tired to give a hand for someone who need it. With his restrictiviness, he is capable of build a foundation for underprivilage children who live in rural area. As a result, he is not only create happiness for himself, but also for other people who deserve to get it. Hence, feeling gratitude and taking care each other can create joyfulness.

I concluded that the notion is true and happiness can be defined by some people who express themselve differently with reality. I believe that showing grateful and taking a part to provide a help for other people, are two key factors which someone can reach joyfulness. (293 words)

Writing Feedback / The benefits of finding a vacancy or sightseeing popular places after graduating high school [4]

In some countries, young people are encouraged to work or travel for a year between finishing high school and starting university studies. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages for young people who decide to do this.

Writing Task 2

Over the time, some teenagers in many parts of the world have decided to spend time for a year between graduating high school and starting new stage at university to find a job or visit other place. I would firmly agree that there are some advantages and disadvantages towards young people.

With regards to some adolescents who agree with the notion, they generally believe that find as much experience as you were still young is the most essential part. It is because they have much energy and much time to explore new experience. For example, according to a publication from cambridge university in 2010, 68% of juveniles, who decided to take practical work after finishing high school, were more confident than others to decide the field of study in University. As a result, they porobably more succesful than other students. Another good point is adolescents enable to make friends through their journey. The reason is people aged 18-20 have the best period to develop theur social skills to interact with each other based on a journal from Standford University. As a result, they have many friends who have different background and cultures.

On the other hand, there is also a demerit which exists from the notion. Young people will have different starting time with other friends due to their choice to delay entering university. For instance, they migh meet juniors in high school as their classmates. As a consequence, they will receive a degree from university longer than people on their age.

In conclusion, the benefit of find a vacancy or sightseeing popular place after graduating high school is greater than its drawback. Althouh juveniles have different period of graduation with people on their age, they have more experiences and friends than other. (293 words)

Writing Task 1

The line graph reveals the information regarding to the proportion of products transported in the United Kingdom by four different types of transport. It is measured by nmillion tones at four-year interval from 1974 to 2002. Overall, the most obvious fact is that the proportion of products that was carried by using road, was always the largest in each year over the time. Moreover, water was the second popular transportation in UK during the same period.

With regards to the two highest proportion in 1974, road quantity and rail quantity were stood at 70 and 40 successively. There was few decrease in the number of road over four-year period, while the figure of rail gradually by 10, from 40 in 1978 to 30 in the middle of 1986. However, concerning the remain yea, both of the changes had the same trend and increased marketly between 1994 and 2002. Road quantity and rail quantity reached 100 and above 400 respectively.

Concerning the rest point, the figure of water started at below 40 and the number for pipeline was 5 in 1974. These figure rose in 1978. Although the ration of water continued to remain steadly from 1982 to 1990, pipeline quantity growth gradually to above one-fifths in 1994 and remained over eight-year period. Writing Feedback / Execution punishments for cruel murderers have become a hot issue for debate in recent years [3]

Some people believe that there should be fixed punishments for each type of crime. Others, however, argue that the circumtances of an individual crime, and the motivation for commiting it, should be always taken into account when deciding on the punishment. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Writing Task 2

Execution punishments for cruel murderer have became a hot issue for debate in recent years. As society who think that every body has their own human right. The juridicy should find out more the information regarding to criminal history of the person and their motivation to commit it when decide the punishment.

With regards to some people who agree with fixed punishment, I believe that they want to reduce crime rates which are getting worst and bring detrimental effects on societies. For example, according to a publication from Jakarta Post in 2016, Indonesian's President, Joko Widodo, has regulated a new regulation to give execution punishments for rapists due to the increasing of violations which happen to children under ages. As a result, news crime rates about sex crime decrease suddenly during the periode. Therefore, some citizens create a petition to the government to punish them with fixed punishments.

However, concerning to other people, who still respect with someone's human right, are disagre with the notion. It is because the juridicy should get more detail information about defendant's pyschology. For example, there was a case which happened to a woman who murdered her husband. The woman should be punished for 20 years according to the regulation. On the other hand, she had strong argument to get a justice due to her husband was a person who wanted to shoot her with a gun. Hence, it is important to take an account about individual crime and the reason why they commit it.

In conclusion, I would firmly agree that fixed punishment should be a further consideration on deciding the punishment, according to the defendant's background and their motivation. (276 words)

Writing Feedback / The information regarding to some steps and tools that are used to produce cement and concrete [2]

The diagrams show the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.

Writing Task 1

The diagrams reveal the information regarding to some steps and tools that are used to produce cement and concrete for building purposes. Overall, it is noticable that, cement production needs more equipment and complex stages than concrete production does. In addition, concrete cannot be produced before cement-making process is finished.

To begin with, there are two main materials which should be prepared for producing cement, that are limestone and clay. First step, these materials are crushed by crusher untill the material sizes powder. Secondly, after being mixed, it will be rotated with certain temperature to heat it in rotating heater. Thirdly, the material needs to be processed in grinder to produce cement. Fourthly, cement can be packed by using large bags.

After cement being produced, concrete-making process can be started. To create it needs 15% of cement, 25% of sand, 10% of water, and a half of stone with small size. The first step is that pour these materials into concrete mixer. After being poured, mixed together by rotating the tool. Finally, concrete can be already used. (177 words)

Writing Feedback / What other measures do you think might be effective? [4]

Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree? What other measures do you think might be effective?

Writing Task 2

Some societies think that to reduce increasing congestion and air pollution in urban city, it needs to be regulate by increasing the cost of fossil fuel. However, in my opinion, increasing the car sales tax rates is also effectively as well as the notion.

With regards to some people who agree with the view, they generally believe that the price is becoming not affrodable for some groups of people. For example, according to a publication in Australian's News in 2010, there was a new regulate from local government to make the price of petrol higher. As a consequence, people in 16 - 60 age groups, who did no have any income, started using private transportation, such as bus or train. Hence, it really works to solve crowded city from private vehicle and reduces air pollution.

On the other hand, I would firmly agree that there are some merits towards environment and society, if the government also increase the tax rates of car and minibus. Not only people who have limited finance that will be think twice to buy a new car, but also prosperous societies. For example, based on statistical data from University of Tokyo Fujita in 2010, there was a sudden decline in the car sale quantity due to the increasing of car sales tax rates of 17%, from 8% to 25%. As a result, the government started improving bike lanes in the town, also local inhabitants enjoyed riding the bike. Therefore, the city can provide more air fresh and the proportion of congestion reduces gradually.

I concluded that the problem of traffic jam and pollution enable to be solved effectively by some ways. There are increasing the price of solar energy and car sales tax rates. (287 words)

Writing Feedback / Is there any connection between children's learning ability at school and the food that they eat? [3]

To learn effectively, children need to eat healthy meal at school. How true is this statemment? Whose responsibility is it to provide food for school children?

Writing Task 2, Practice Test, Page 130

Most people think that there is a connection between children's learning ability at school and the food that they eat. In my opinion, this statement is true and I would argue that parents have the main role to provide healtier food for children.

With regards to its merit of healthy meal, it is able to give high nutrition for children and it relates to the brain develepment. Pupils can be more concentrate to accept a new knowledge from teachers without any difficulties. It is proved, according to the survey from Cambridge University that reveals 78% of young people can memorize 50 words a day after they have eaten high protein and vitamin food, such as a glass of milk and a bowl of salad. As a result, students can study some new vocabularies and increase their reading ability and writing ability. Therefore, it is important for children to eat healthly.

Concerning to a person, who has big responsbility to provide meal, is actually their own parent. It is because they have to take care and pay much attention for their children's development. For instance, if a pupil brings his own meal box, it might reduce this child to buy junk food that is sold in food stall. Thus, parent do not have to aware due to their children have brought and ate home-made cooking at school. Hence, parent should provide their healthy meal.

Overall, it is undeniable that young people can learn effectively if they consume more healthyly. Henceforward, this food should be prepared and cooked by own parent, so children can eat it at school. (266 words)

Writing Feedback / Various clothes have the particular function to impress someone else. [4]

Some people say that the clothes people wear are the most important indication of what they are like. Others, however, say that people should not be judged by the clothes they wear. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Writing Task 2, Unit 8D, Page 52

Some people think that the clothes, which is worn by them, is the most essential factors to impress someone else. Others think that it is not true because people cannot judge by what they wear. In my opinion, it depends on the situation that the clothes has its particular function to make others feel admire.

With regards to some people who agree with the notion of the importance of clothes worn, they generally believe that it can make a fresh look or smart one, particularly in a workplace. For instance, according to the result of survey reveals that people, who want to get interview in a company, tend to wear dress smartly with bright shirt, nice tie and formal suit. As a result, their appearance look more diligent and more confident. Therefore, it is necessary to choose clothes carefully for some people in certain occasion.

On the other hand, some society think that others cannot judge someone' appeal through their clothes. It is because not everybody has the same economical issue and affords to buy branded clothes or nice clothing. For example, people who have limited finance only use casual clothes which is affordable, but it does not mean that they are not a smart person. As a result, their dress look cannot describe much information about their mind or behave.

In conclusion, the notion of clothes worn is important to impress other people is true, especially for some people who want to attend formal activity. However, it does not valid for everyone who wear simple dress as their appearance. (260 words)

Writing Feedback / There are several goals of business that people want to achieve it. [3]

The purpose of business is to make money and they should concentrate only on this. Do you agree or disagree?

There are several goals of business that people want to achieve it. Some people say that making much money is one of the essential thing. Therefore, an enterpreneur should more concern about it that others. However, I believe that giving best treatment of employees is also important thing as well as making money.

To begin with, people who think that businessmen should take more attention only on making profitable sales, it because they have to keep maintaining the own-label products to still exist. For example, by providing a new innovation or improving their quality products. In result, it can attract more consumers than before to keep buying their goods or products. Writing Feedback / Over the time, the emergence of sophisticated electronic media brought many advantages for people [3]

The use of electronic media has a negative effect on personal relationships between people. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Writing Task 2, Unit 4D, Page 28

Over the time, the emergence of sophisticated electronic media has bring many advantages for people around the world. Meanwhile, others think that the drawback can affect to our personal relationships with other people. I totally agree with the statement and I will discuss the reason in this essay.

Firstly, there are several types of electronic media that people enjoy using it. One of them is smart phone. The reason is people can use not only for communicate, but also do other activities, such as business for shopping online or booking air ticket by only one click. According to the journal, experts have done some research about this phenomenon and found a result in 2015, people who opt shopping online by using smart phone than go from shop to shop, jumped to 76%. It is true that there is a significant increase in shopping online application that can be downloaded in mobile phone. Thus, the electric media usage make people convenient to use it.

On the other hand, besides its outweigh for the user, it is able to give a negative influence and especially to our personal relationships with close people. Although the benefit can connect us to other people who live far away from us, our relationships with people surround us might be getting worse. For instance, many children use their gadget when they have a dinner with family. As result, they have lack of social life with real people than virtual friends. Thus, it can bring a bad effect on our relationships between people.

Overall, I believe that people can get many benefits from electronic media due to its usage, eventhough the disadvantage may cause negative effect on our social life with surrounding people. (285 words)

Writing Feedback / It is very difficult for people to have a healthy lifestyle - habits change is necessary. [2]

Some people say that in the modern world it is very difficult for people to have a healthy lifestyle. Others, however, say that it is easy for people to be healthy and fit if they want to be.

Nowadays, some society who lives in modern era get some difficulties to have a healthy lifestyle. Meanwhile, the other society think that they have no difficulties. In this essay, I will give my opinion about these views.

I believe that some people who think that having a healthy lifestyle is very hard to be done, it because they have less time and less money to provide some things that they need. For example, someone have to spend much money to buy some organic fruits and vegetables. Furthermore, they have to take much time to prepare these food to be served. As result, they can be late to go to work or school. Thus, people think that a healthy lifestyle need much effort and money.

On the other hand, some groups of society say that it is easy to get a healthy lifestyle. In my opinion, the main reason is they can change their habits by doing a simple activity. For instance, they can use stairs instead of lift or escalator, if they want to go to upstairs or downstrairs every morning. As result, they can be more fit than other people who always use convenient ways. So, it is actually easy for people who want to have a healthy lifestyle.

Overall, it is not true that there are some difficulties to get a healthy lifestyle. People do not have to spend much money and provide much time, but they can change their bad habits into another good one to get it. (251 words)
